By the way, would Gon agree on fighting anyone OTHER than Genthru?

Anyways, even if Bara and Genthru weren't dying, that doesn't really change anything. They were in horrible, horrible shape. And bandages do NOT heal everything.

There's also the fact that at least they had a plan against Genthru. They knew his abilities.

They didn't know anything about Sub and Bara, which is its own brand of dangerous.

yay greed island finally over.

It was an ok arc i guess, but I didnt particularly enjoy it compared to Yorkshire city arc.

Hoping the next arc is good

The new arc is coming up! 2011 series has pass 1999 mark and the comparison thread made by the mod is kind of dead. Might as well close it up now.

Next week, most of us will get the thing we have wanted since the very beginning. Whether it be the lost chapter, or the lost saga (not just one arc).

Quiz game time. It was nice Gon won that one.
Was expecting it, but was also slightly surprised.
It's amazing how much Gon & Killua grew in strength.
New info about the people behind the Greed Island was nice.
It's cool how he can take 3 cards to real world.
Now that Greed Island arc is over I guess we'll finally see the mysterious Ging.

I can't say I'm surprised that the ending was off the charts great, because this series pretty much delivers all the time. But it's still pretty amazing to watch it happen, over and over.

One quibble - what about Killua's punishment game? We never saw it, did we?

Greed Island was great, though most of us already knew what happens from the previous series still, this one delivered and it was a good watch. but much more excited for the coming weeks

Nice idea to keep the accompany card. Sad to see Bisky go, she really grew on me, lol her crying. So what most people have been waiting for starts next week.

I'll admit, I was worried about treading familiar ground when I started this series(2011) long ago, and that it wouldn't hold my interests, but I have to hand it to MH; they did a remarkable job with this remake =03. The GI arc was particularly enjoyable, because the animation quality of the OVAs were severely lacking, but MH's was always of good quality throughout the series. Now, the longest arc in HxH history is finally here =03! I can't say I liked all parts of the Chimera arc, since they felt kinda draggy, but once "the action" starts, it takes off like a rocket into space. The beginning is nice too. Anyway that's all I can say w/o being a bit spoilerish, but I have high hopes that this'll be just as entertaining as the rest of the series =03.

Great way to end it. Judging by the preview, I'm guessing it isn't actually Ging because the person appears to have a different hair color/length. I wonder how he managed to make the accompany plan misdirect. Ging must have predicted Gon would try it, if so.
