Episode 6:

Graduation! Wow, those erythrocytes are cute as heck. I'm really impressed by how creative they made the episode with the process of their lifestyle. Good job creators.

Macrophage makes a great instructor. NK Cell is also such a badass.

Sounds like some rich new material for our manga-ka, especially the "invisibility cloak."
Alternatively, it could be an opportunity to pay homage to what is considered one of the best/most intense mission from CoD: Modern Warfare: 'All Ghillied Up'.

SO ae-3803 and U-1411 did meet as children but seems both forgot about it and was so nice how the make the whole process of cell born and their childhood.

The TCD4+ and NK rivalry was so funny, so that generic cell was the cancer cell all along, next chapter will be something

I imagined NK cells as something like Lelouch using his Geass to make other cells commit seppuku.

That would be more fitting.

From most definitions of "life", they are alive while parasitizing a cell, but outside they are lifeless particles.

Those two really are soulmates. Even as children he's been coming to her defense and she's been thanking him for it.

And from that adorable business we move into something a bit more extreme. Going right to the big guns with the cancer cell it appears.

Unless they bring in the Chemotherapy to blast that cancer cell into smithereens. and theres a side effect healthy cells got affected by that drug.

Not all cancer cells will result in a deadly disease.

I'm fairly sure rogue cellular mutations happen all the time, and your immune system just purges them before they get dangerous.

I think, when you get "cancer" it's when your body can't seem to properly recognize it as foreign.

In this case, NK cell clearly did recognize it, even if everyone else didn't.

That was a cute backstory. Looks like no matter how old they are or where they are WBC will always come to save RBC.

Wasn't expecting to go straight from a cute backstory to a serious two parter.

Awwww, that flashback story was soooooooo goooooood~ <3
I loved the whole Macrophage as teacher of the little red blood cell kids (so cute! <3) or how the flashback got introduced with the Church ritual of the maturing of the red blood cell teens into a full fledged adult rbc. The point where Neutrophil teacher traumatized all those kids with his bacteria acting was great too, poor kids. xD
What I really liked was the Bacteria though or better said his worldview where he said he is by far superior than our cute little red hat. From a Bacteria POV it makes sense to think so, humans are basically nothing but huge lands of promise to conquer and breed on. Bacterias have no need to divid into several hundreds of specific types of cells to survive, they can live on their own whereas white blood cells, red blood cells, all types of cells, need each other in the body to survive. Their "cell society" is like a huge weakness in the eye of a Bacteria that can just clone itself over and over again to overwhelm everything.

GJ that our Mycelot (or something like that) was as strong-willed to protect others as he was as adult. <3
Though that "onii-chan" made me realize... technically our rbc and wbc are "blood-related". XDDD

NK Cell looked really cool though, with her saber, muscles and lone wolf attitude. And it seems she is better at her job to spot dangerous cancer cells than our Neutrophil and T-Killer Cell buddies. Also seems she doesn't really trust their strength if she got them away to handle the cancer cell on her own. That said, the cancer cell looked really scary with those mutations. Same with the Bacteria being so cruel and enjoying said cruelness.

Makes me kinda hope we do get a Hataraku Saibou BLACK OVA someday. Even one episode alone of that would be awesome. <3

Never fear, they can't have intercourse so their relationship will remain platonic Albeit when seeing NK and T-Killer fight I kept thinking "Get a room, that is enough foreplay already" >_<
