Great news, Baki is much better and more "massaveio" than these shounen shit.

I'm hyped up, not only are we getting an OVA of the Convicts Arc, but also a new TV adaptation!! I've been waiting for this for a long while, and I'm really looking forward to it! The TV series will probably adapt Son of Ogre, not sure what'll be the starting point.

OVA raw out (technically it's just an introduction and an interview with the author), but what it's got to know is that it's brutal, serious, hard to believe that it's going to happen on TV, well, I had my doubts with Drifters and the series was transmitted without censorship.

As an additional note the action scenes are incredible and the art used is quite faithful to that of the manga.

I'm very anxious.

Baki will be broadcast only by netflix or will it be the same scheme used in Kakegurui, Sidonia no Kishi where it only bought the exclusive broadcast rights outside of Japan?

Probably the latter since it is becoming common.

Last I saw Funimation owned the rights to this series, I remember watching all those previews for the older show and it looked fun but it was one of those Anime to me that looked so and so that I didn't really want to buy and we couldn't do things like watch it online like we can now so. I think I'll give it a chance, looks like it could be fun.

Ai, how I love the inconsistency of Japanese TV, look at this amount of violence that the channel allowed

Spoiler for brutal:

The older series cut a lot of the violence shown in the manga. The new series, at least in the first episodes, kept all the violence, completely uncensored.

even the TV version is quite violent

Spoiler for Speck:

I believe that because the anime is broadcast after 0:00, while the old one was broadcast during the daytime if I'm not wrong.

and speaking of it, in episode 2 they did a fight in CG, already I saw that a lot of people will be angry because of this.
