I guess I am just not impressed with the Bankai(which is basically a giant marionette without strings)...I thought maybe it did more than mimic his motions. Kenpachi would have destroyed Komamura had they fought way back in the SS arc. imho

I use Kenny as an example because they almost fought and both of their abilities are based on brute strength. But from what I can tell, basically all the espada will get killed along with their fraccion...(not a spoiler but a conclusion based on every Japanese show I have watched and I assure you it is a formidable amount lol as well as based on Gins flip attitude about the deaths of the fraccion, they are nothing more than a distraction) what happens after that is anyones guess. But Aizen must DIE!

komamura was really really cool in this episode though. spectacular. i think i read somewhere he can actually become part of the bankai, but i have yet to find evidence for that. he took down poww pretty easily though so im guessing his bankai is more than meets the eye. i think he would equal zaraki....zaraki might have better swordsmanship but komamura has more raw strength and kidou. i know zaraki's taken him down before but i don't think komamura was taking that seriously enough.

Well now that we have seen preview for next episode are there any suggestions as to who is going to face whom?

From Preview it looks like:
Shunsui & Ukitake VS Stark & Lillinete
Hitsugaya & Matsumoto VS Halibel's fraccions
Soi Fon & Omaeda VS Barragan's 2 left fraccions

Also is it Yamamoto VS Barragan?
If so where is Halibel? Will she finish off VCs with Komamura and destroy the pillars?

Actually Ichigo started going around in Bankai form recently because he promised to protect his friends...it happened when Nel was about to get killed by the Air Privaron Espada,Dordonii Alessandro Del Socacchio...from that moment on he promised to give it all he has and to not hold back. Thus explaning his being in Bankai constantly.

I don't seem to recall Nel being hurt by Dordonii... *bad memory*

Did anyone else find parts of the action sequence strangely familiar? First the villain fights with the human-sized heroes then seemingly drinks a magic potion that turns him into a giant. The giant destroys large parts of the city, then konamura comes along and summons the megazord (thats what I thought it was like all along) and basically has a one hit KO. Shikai releases might as well be subtitled with "IT'S MORPHING TIME! and when shinigami get hurt they spill sparks

Come on.... there is nothing original in anime, everything is inspired in something like Power Rangers

I saw the other day Powerpuff girls when they went in morphing time and Dexter too

I do hope the people of Karakura Town have some damn good property insurance though...

Anybody watch the latest episode and thought they might have changed Ichigo's seiyuu or something?

I mean, I never heard Ichigo sound so girlishly happy and bright and ready for Shinigamis before.

That threw me off for a loop.
