And it seems Avengers would be using post production fake 3D. The bane of my existence.

So I am out. I refuse to watch post production 3D ever since Clash of the Titans. Good old 2D is good enough here.
Well at theatres you can either take in the 3D showing or 2D or in your place is it just the 3D?

So while waiting for more Avenger's news, here's an extra from the Captain America Blu-Ray and DVD entitled "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer", showing Agent Coulson to be totally kickass :

Why does YouTube constantly disable embedding_? If it's Marvel doing the requesting that's even more irritating_!

3D was a fad in the 50's and so far it hasn't gotten any better. They still do the same lame tricks.

Give me 2D and a quality movie.

Currently Marvel does not own the Fantastic Four film rights. So when they get the rights back, would would be in a few years, they would likely introduce a brand new F4 film with new actors.

The same applies to both X-men and Spiderman. I expect all these franchises to get official Marvel-verse reboots in the next decade as they returned to their roots.

There's nothing wrong with the *concept* of copyright.. what you have to scratch your head over is Disney's MISUSE of it. Snippets of films are completely legal to use for review -- youtube should not kowtow and take those down. Reporters certainly don't ask permission before using snippets in reviews. Trailers are purely to build buzz for a film... why the hell would any sane businessman turn down free advertising exposure provided by linking to trailers?

The control of all thoughts relating to an "intellectual property" (no such thing really) is more important to them than any other aspect. To me its a sign of institutional insanity.

Marvel isn't getting the rights back yet because they scheduled another Fantastic Four reboot. They are making their minds up over the director right now.

Whoa, the company that now owns the Spider-man and Fantastic 4 films rights must be desperate to keep them that they rather do reboots than sell them to Marvel films.

Marvel wouldn't buy them, that's the thing. They'd merely wait out the contract and then reobtain them once they ended. By putting out another movie, it extends the rights.

All I know is that this movie is dependent on them getting the Hulk right. He is one of the few characters in the film who had to be re-introduced, and how he fits in would make or break the film. So far, they are keeping so much of it a secret that we can't judge.

All we know, is that they are basing the character on the live action TV series version. Less "trying to cure himself" and more "trying to use his powers for good while going on long walks like a vagabond".
