Plot Summary:

Kaminashi Nozomi (17) is an exceptional gymnast. So much so that colleges with some of the best gymnastic programs are trying to recruit her. Unfortunately for them, she has other plans. Due to her family being extremely poor, money is everything to her. That's why she wants to step into the world of "Keijo." "Keijo" is a type of gambling sport where girls stand on a small floating platform and compete against one another. The aim is to push the other contestant off of the platform into the water, but they are only allowed to use their butt or breasts to push the others off. Will Nozomi be able to compete in the intense world of "Keijo" and bring wealth and fortune for her family?

I wonder if the anime will be more faithful to the manga or go a more original route. At least, if I understood correctly, the mangaka wrote on his blog that he told the anime makers they should make the anime whichever way they wanted.

It does have a lot of fanservice in the sense that the way the sport works is fanservice on itself. But I agree it actually has a lot of competitive sports elements and get pretty exciting in that way. It may be an anime harder for some when it comes to suspension of disbelief though.

Posted this in the manga thread but may as well post it here. Weekly Shonen Sunday from last week unveiled colorless anime designs for the two protagonists, Nozomi Kaminashi and Sayaka Miyata alongside two other protagonists of the manga: Non Toyoguchi (pigtails) and Kazane Aoba (ponytail)

Although they aren't exactly holding back on some brutal shots the characters are taking during these races. Going to certainly see some random and probably hilarious attacks unleashed in this show.

FINALLY!!!!! the "ass come"!!!,

one of the best "shounen sports" of century is finally here

, man excluding the fact which they cut most of the initial material of the manga to get all the group together, was really a good work and all that "gigles" i was like that:

lol, all the brutal "buts" fight was really intensy and the girls are really funny the main girl and her withe" hair (which have a crush on her) friend where fun, the white girl have the power to move so fast which she can use her "butts" as a boobs lol, this show will be really a "epic ASSSSSSSS!!!!!!!.

Looking forward to the sports elements, unfortunately looks like they're cutting a lot of stuff.
Like they kept talking about the try-out exams, and referencing events to it, and obviously we weren't shown any of it
