There is one later that you can finish in 5 min that give you 50,000 EXP...it's definately doable, but then sometimes it's just easier and leveling up only really increase your aim/hp/evasion. it just increase your defense..that is research through upgrades so I don't think it's game breaking.
I was waiting for the medic to show up right up tilil Rosie start singing..than I go like...what that's impossible!!!! |

There are so many, and it's funny how it misses out one of the main events from Final Fantasy VII, which is very similar to the scene we're talking about from VC.

Maybe once I get through the game and have a better grasp of what you can do, the next time around I'll shoot for no skirmishes and higher ranking difficulties.

Just finished the escape through the forest, although it took three attempts to figure things out. I found it ironic that the enemy Ace in the mission has the title 'the Immortal'. He definitely wasn't after I tripped off the searchlight to have some not-so-friendly mortar fire zeroed in on him.

*sigh* I made the second Chapter 8 mission one hell of a meatgrinder. I had about four characters knocked out and evacuated by the time I broke the Imperial offensive and took their first camp, taking some mad shooting by Marina and a near-suicidal solo rush by Rosie to save the day (I love the Strong-willed potential!). It then took forever to get the mortar cannon and its defenders out of the picture. Ended up finishing in 13 turns. Terrible...
On the bright side, I have Lynn now Now, I'm at the stage where my weapons have started branching out on the R&D tree. Pretty much what I'm seeing are weapons that either have better power, accuracy or inflict status conditions. Which bonuses do you guys prefer? I'm thinking about going accuracy, since most of the time, you want head shots to hit their mark. |

Accuracy for rifles, damage for machineguns, lances for... lances, and accuracy for sniper rifles.
Of course, eventually you'll want a max-level mortar for Largo, and max-level T-mag machineguns are pretty nasty considering how many headshots they can get. |

Lost Welkin on the supply base mission in chapter 5 late last night. I also lost 3 of my 4 scouts by the time I even entered the base from the north group. Seeing that invincible tank there didn't do anything to help my ego.
Since I haven't been saving in the missions, I'm back to re-doing the mission and figuring out a more effective way. |
