I don't know why people are so hungover her physical strength, as if its a deciding factor. In the manga she just seemed like some strong chick with issues that took over cause someone needed to takeover.

In the anime they proved she has what it takes to be Hokage, she sat down and studied and worked herself asleep trying to increase Lee's chances of survival. She cares for her people, and during the Sanin fight she proved she was a Sanin even though in the manga she was a one-hit wonder, seeing her actually do some real taijitsu moves instead of just socking shit once, showed she has the skills nessacry to be the Hokage. Out of all the characters shown, she by far fits the bill to be Hokage.

I chose yes because Jiraiya chose her. I bet that if there was no one else, Jiraiya would have taken the job. He believed that she would do a better job than him, because he knew what kind of person she was. Before Naruto made her realize her loved one's dreams to protect Konoha, she didn't really care at all. I believe it is not strength alone that should determine who should become a Hokage. It is what you feel towards the village. So I believe that she can do the job well.

Yeah, but judging by her attitude through the series so far, she was probably talking shit due to his reputation imo.

Right now I don't think she is ready to be hokage, but she will definately fit right in with time.

Imagine when Orchi gets his arms fixed, and goes oto fight tsunade, and kills her? *THE HOKAGE KILLER* eventhough this doesn't happen, if he did attack Konaha, and fought Tsunade at full strength, i think he would win.

Being hokage isn't all about strenght. If it was then Tsunade is fit. But it's not and I do not think Tsunade has the right attitude for it.

About Tsunade's strength. Even with her phobia Kabuto who is ranked among the very best of the jounins sitll had to bakc away. And if you compare her to Oro without hands, then hands down she would win. As she took him out in 1 hit and he couldn't even dodge. With use of his arms then we don't know who would win.

It SEEMS to me that most of you guys forgot she is OLDER THAN 50 years old. She may look young but shes old.

She's freaking STRONG in the manga. One punch.

No, she still wouldn't lose to Oro, even if his arms were better.

I think she has what it takes, strength, and smarts wise. I think her temperment will not be hinderance either. I'm thinking you have to be strongwilled to run a outfit like that and not all wishy-washy. She overcame her past and I trust Jiraiya's opinion too.

She's certainly strong enough to be the Hokage, but she doesn't seem to have the right attitude for it. I mean they catch her sleeping on the job for god's sake, the Hokage, in the middle of the friggin afternoon, jesus would YOU trust an entire village to someone who'll fancy a nap at 3 pm even though she finds herself in a risky situation (Konoha is going through a ver precarious phase at the moment)? I don't know, maybe she'll grow into it, she does seem to have that whole council behind her, maybe her desire to 'protect her loved ones' and be a good overall person will prevail in the end. It's just that at the moment she doesn't seem to fit into it. Speaking of fitting into it, and yet in a totally unrelated matter that does infact have something to do with Tsunade, I really wish she'd consider genjutsuing a bra for her self or something, I swear it's not the size that bothers me, it's just the way they hang

In the episodes where she fought oro and Kabuto, her efforts were weak as.

Kabuto was owning the crap out of her and oro slapped her around a bit too.

Her phobia of blood is her greatest weakness and that made me kinda doubt her abilities. I mean if you are a ninja nad you're scared of blood, then what good are you hey? Also her lapses in concentration dont do her no good either eg when she was fighting naruto.

Another negative would be her band temper and inability to use ninjutsus and carefully craft plan for a tight situation.

So in conclusion im gonna say, yes she is fit to be hokage but just barely.

She didn't really see a purpose when she was fighting Oro and Kabuto. Didn't you notice once she found that purpose of protecting Naruto...she owned Oro and took 3 fatal wounds....

if that's not tough...I don't know what is...

I voted yes cause she is strong and has leadership quality. The anime f@#$ed her up. The 100 punch combo she did on orochi was bs! And now i'd really like to see kabuto fight her without her weakness. Actually, now that i wanna see her fight anyone strong now that she doesn't have her weakness and really prove herself.

Obviously she's going to be Hokage, she's the strongest in Konoha and she cares for the ppl, since she's a medcal specialist. But don't let that fool you, I would think if Orchi 100% vs Tsunade 100%, my bet would go to Orchi, even tho he underestimates his opponents, he doesn't underestimated Tsunade, so you would see orchi at his full potential and plus can't he just revive Tsunade bro (what's his name?) and Dan and use them to attack Tsunade, surley her mind would get a lil wired there.

between the gambling/drinking addiction, mental hangups (she's really open to psychological attacks) and temperment, I don't think she is.

Essentially, she's too flawed. Too human.

the 3rd cared deeply for EVERYONE. He was benevolent, wise, and strong/skilled. The 4th gave his life to protect the village.

meanwhile our new hokage is running from her past.

Not to say Jiraiya is mentally fit either. I mean...he DID fall victim to Harem-no-jutsu....
