That kenshin sig is so awesome!

I really love his younger/blood-thirtsy self more, just cause he's more badass

You deserve some cookies just for that

For the latest two, for the first, try some other fonts, stuff that isn't grungy, but is still relatively the same size

Also you might think about getting rid of some of that negative space and packing the effects in a bit more...

The second one, the render needs more blending. Try using some gradient maps or overlaying some solid effects over the render to achieve that. Also, I would suggest adding some C4ds to the piece to add more to it, and also get rid of some of that negative space. And the colors could match/blend better. And maybe think about putting the text on the side of the front wheel and curving it to fit the shape?

I liked the BRS one. You sucessfully managed to combine the colors without any standing out too much. And that depth-blur.. barbaric

I agree with Rennir on the second one in his critic. Can't add much there.

However, I'll have to disagree on the first one. I adore it. The grunge font, while a bit out of place, really fits in with the colors, which in themselves are very flowing, high quality, and soft. As for the negative space, I have to say it automatically give the render a lot of focus, as it stands out a lot, but thanks to the background, which mixes nicely with the C4D around her, the negative space sort of fits in quite well, as well as giving it some uniqueness. The use of another color for "Rock" also fits well since it's similar to the bg color.

Taking a closer on the render itself, you might want to make it blend in a bit better at the left top. I know the outline can be hard, and it works with that light around the edge, but it kind of... just seems off.

That got a bit long...

Banner turned out nice as well, liked the colors. The render seems kinda small though buy considering that space you have to work in I had that problem as well when I considered doing the halloween banner.

Dang, I didn't realize AS sig and avy rules changed - good thing I re-checked before finishing Illu-chan's request.

@capture: Thanks capture. It was really just darn luck that I managed to get the BRS typography to look decent.

@Rennir: I so agree that young Kenshin was awesome! I can't wait to see what they'll do with the live-action. *munches on cookies* And thanks for the critiques on my last two sigs. I'll keep that in mind when I try this technique again.

@Tong: Thanks! I'm quite proud of how the BRS sig turned out - though I can't really say it was all geniusly planned out that way - more like trial-n-error with some of the effects.

@AtomicoX: Not long at all! I really appreciate for the detailed critique. Since you mentioned it, I now see where the render needs more blending. Thanks.

Yup, I noticed the problem with how small my render was for the banner. I don't know why I didn't notice that mistake earlier before I submitted it. Dx Next time, I'm gonna make many changes to my approach.

LOL. My same reaction when I saw the changes to the sig/avy rules. For us animators, the change saves a many would-be headaches!

Thanks, and yes there are a lot of talented people on AS (I can't even compare to them OTL). Sadly, many I've known are not as active or no longer make sigs. But I do see so many new talents popping up on FC, which is awesome!

Oh my, I'm sorry I used your wallpaper. I found it randomly on google and thought it was an official image. It's a beautiful wally and definitely credit goes to you for the image (Lelouch image with symbol in his hand).

Whoa, it's been such a long while since I have time to work on a sig again. Put this one together real quick for the upcoming Amnesia series.

As you can see, I had to cut out a lot to make it usable on AS.

Oh my gawd, it's been so long since I made a sig.

Just the spur of the moment, I fulfilled this request for someone in the Sig request thread.

Made this real quick, nothing fancy...like I said, crazy spur of the moment thing...

It's a nice looking Miku sig, the only issue I have is this blue dots near her mouth, it's kind of distracting.
