Seriously hope you weren't watching Dark Passage or Lyon, Tom. They weren't up to scratch. Pain from Brazil are probably the favourites, but Immunity from Australia have a chance. So does Gear Gaming from Lithuania.
Kona, it's not quite so much the champs as much as sychronising objective control and the teamfighting, which is where Korea excels. Zac and Lee Sin are thriving because teams aren't running comps that punish being engaged on. As for Vayne, the Draven nerfs helped her cause and nerfs to assassins are as well. Today's schedule (all BO3): KTM vs Copenhagen Wolves for a spot in the S4 Spring Promotional Series, starting ina few mins Gear Gaming vs Immunity Pain Gaming vs Dark Passage

So, first impressions of Lucian: he's a decent ADC with lots of mobility, mainly thanks to his W rather than E (although E is awesome, cleansing all slows and refreshing on ult kill). The Culling deals TONS OF DMG, especially if you've got some penetration up for it, and although many will be attracted to an AS/AD build, I'd prefer an AS/CDR one because his passive hurts like a bitch and has no CD.

Yes, but he can move while casting it and use E or summoner spells. Its duration is short enough to prioritize shifting direction rather than CCing Lucian though...and it has quite a good range, so it's mostly used for kiting runners - I found it works amazingly well in pit fights, where people will stubbornly stand still to kill their objective.

For anyone wondering why Lucian runs out of mana sometimes: His Q is currently bugged doubling the mana cost about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time.
My first impression of Lucian after 5 games with him: His early seems quite weak to me, neither has the range nor the burst to effectively harass or trade. Where he shines though is teamfights due to his mobility. Also, a full ultimate with LW can even hurt a well-equipped tank quite a bit. What I rly can't stand is his Q even in lategame where it seems to have no impact whatsoever. It's like a bad version of MF's Q in every respect. Coupled with the bug described above I'd rather max W first for now. Last edited by Waven; 2013-08-22 at 18:32. |

I have to say I am really enjoying new Yi in the jungle now that I found my standard build path.
I really like doran blade -> zerk -> hyrdra -> Shiv -> LW -> w/e on him (LS quints make blade work just fine for clears).

Personally I found it refreshing to watch a team play so aggressive as the meta in EU and NA has gone a bit stale with all the split pushing. |

In before Dyrus leaves TSM after S3 is done and forms a team with Chaox. Get bent Reginald.... Gaming Gear ended up winning the Wildcard Qualifier. Considering they went 2-0 vs Immunity and then Pain, they earned it. Immunity gave them much more resistance and should have won Game 1. No idea why Heavenz was way off his game - this isn't like him. Wish Elysia was a bit less ham and played something besides J4. Mass respect for Raydere and Rosey though - those two played their butts off. EG beat Alternate 2-1 and Gambit beat NIP 2-0 to make it to the semis. But Gambit weren't that convincing, I expect Lemondogs to beat them. SK Telecom beat MVP Ozone 3-1 in OGN semi #2 and will verse KT Rolster B next weekend in the grand final. Winner will definitely make it to worlds based on the points standings. The other automatic spot will go to MVP Ozone if they take 3rd place against CJ Entus Frost.

Today I am not sure if I should feel honored, or complain to riot about how match-making is broken....
Had 2 plats 2 golds 1 silver as enemy team with only gold-silver on my team, meh average bad luck on normal queue sometimes, then next game: I get matched vs a (in)famous Diamond 1 player ranked, DruidDroid, whom pioneered the proxy singed tactic, wtf . And both of us were solo... some gold/silver duo and solo plat is suppose to equal a diamond player . Though we had slight chance winning despite Swain bullying riven out of lane hard, til zyra despite to troll and stop warding entirely and spammed surrender vote at 25 mins or so .
