Lol that's the dilemma isn't it? People like Jeanne to be in the harem, but the reason why people like Jeanne is because she's NOT in the the harem

Anyway the main point isn't the harem aspect, what people really want is just to see her in love, so the best solution is to pair her up with some other guy

Beta couplings are quite rare in harem series. But if that happens, I hope that the other guy is likable enough to meet Jeanne's worth. Mutou and Shiranui doesn't make it IMO. I think what Hidan no Aria needs is more badass guys (my preference) or develop the recurring male characters besides Kinji.

Sadly yes, ever since I saw Baka-Test I have raised my standard to include beta pairings. Harems are fun an all, but they aren't as romantic as a single pair.

Heh, funny you should mention 'worth' it reminds me when Regios was still airing someone commented that Felli (coincidentally another silver haired girl) was too good for this show.

Well yes she's all that, but in my opinion romance in this series makes girls unlikable because they would become jealous or single minded when it comes to Kinji, and not the cute kind after awhile.

Because Jeanne stayed away from all that mess she really does comes off as the most mature of the group, and hence the most likable.

that's why i'm happy to see them team together against the sibling in vol.11:the utimate bishoujo duo with ice and fire,black and whit hair,equal level of power...their complementarity is just perfect.

Okay, after weeks of no news from the Chinese LN community about the newest volume I just found the fully-translated version o_O

I'll try and get a summary up within 48 hours. *goes off reading*

Okay, I've finished reading this volume. See my response in spoiler for some details, I'll leave the actual summary for later:

Spoiler for My opinion on this Volume:

Without a doubt, the following two words aptly describe my response to the Volume as a whole:

HOLY. $HIT.
This is one exceptionally good volume, by HnA standards. Think of it as the second coming of the Holmes vs Kinji fight. I have complained a bit about Kaname's inclusion in the previous volume, but if we take the entire Vol10 as a set-up for this volume then I forgive the less-than-spectacular writing of Vol10. This one more than made up for it.

The title 'Bloodline of G' does indeed play a major role in the story. More on this in the summary coming later.

Kaname and Baskerville girls' fight took one chapter to resolve. After that Kaname is accepted by everyone, and took the role of 'Kinji's little sister' and is now firmly off the 'possible love interest of Kinji' list.

Ch2 was the sports festival. Nothing too astounding here (having said that, it was somewhat entertaining). This is mainly setting up for later chapters.

Ch3, this is when things start to go into the 'EPIC' territory. Kaname is forced to betray Kinji and the rest of his harem under G IV's orders, and defeated everyone against her minus Aria and Kinji. She also has a energy sword (not a light saber). G IV is personally supervising the attack and Kana is with him, as a neutral observer in the Eastern War.
Kaname is ordered by G IV to kill Team Baskerville, and despite her creed of 'never disobeying people stronger than her' in the end she attacked G IV and siding with Kinji - he treated her like family and a human. She got curbstomped and had a hole ripped open in her stomach by a single strike, with G IV stating they're superhumans and ultimately a human-weapon; Kaname is now reduced to be 'only human' and no longer of use to him.

rest of that chapter, and Ch4... I'll save it till the summary, this series of events deserve nothing less than blow-by-blow details IMO.

Oh, and the cliffhanger of this volume is Kinji and Reki, the most notable students of their year, being called to the principal's office. The principal has a nickname of "The visible 'invisible-man'", in that he perfected the psychological technique of his characteristics not being remembered by anyone, even though he might be out in front giving speeches and such in school events. If he is assigned a target, he will take them down.
He declared that at the end of the month both Kinji and Reki will be expelled. The volume ends here.

Now personally, what with Reki and Kinji's performance records they're obviously not in trouble, so the expulsion will probably have a deeper plot to that. Hence why I'm not panicking and going 'WTF, expulsion? WHY?!'.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this volume
