Like I said there isn't any hard evidence because we don't get all POV, so for all we know Freya could have more than one familia member in her escorts other than Allen. Also there was never a point in the entire story where we actually get to see the insides of Syr's home, nor did the tale said anything about Syr returning to stay in the orphanage after the events in Vol 8.

Look, I'm not persisting in a pet theory, but I've been minding the whole Syr identity thing since volume 1, and I noticed that whenever we get Freya's POV, there would be no Syr's(dare you prove me wrong). That's the reason I have been looking all over the place to proof that Syr is NOT Freya. Vol 8 SEEMS to prove it, but the evidence is not as hard as you or I want it to be.

P.S: When I said different POV, I meant the two of them viewing the same events from different location at the same time. The author mindfucks with his narrative for Freya/Syr, so that whenever one of them is watching physically, you will never see the other anywhere. If Vol 8 has 'confirmed' their identities as separate, there is no meaning in using such narrative tricks again, but in Vol 11 when Bell is dueling Asterius before the entire city, virtually every named character in the book was watching, EXCEPT Syr(and the waitresses in the tavern of course, but if I were to add a narrative trick here, I won't include them either for being too obvious). It really begs the question how much the author wants us to read into this.

Ais noticed the similarities between Wiene and herself, with the only difference that the Xenos had a hero to save her.

Lefiya was rooting for Bell during his fight with Asterius, although that doesn't say much when his opponent just wrecked part of her familia.

Witnessing Bell's fight with Asterius was inspiring enough for Finn to start adventuring in order to become a real hero.

On another note...

After obtaining a Daedalus Eye, Finn sent Riveria and a team of concurrent casting mages to storm Knossos, where Evilus members were controlling a group of Xenos.

Riveria and Co. go on a rampage until Revis' arrival, after which they escape alongside the Xenos.

Finn told Fels that he should let the Xenos be a part of the Knossos subjugation team, so Loki Familia and the Xenos are now allies in this endeavor.

Info on Aiz's mysterious skill is out. She's basically Avenger. It makes total sense when you think about it. If Bell could get skills just from his yearning to be a hero, Aiz's hatred would be more than enough to warrant a skill.

It has an active trigger, heavily increases her attack against monsters, massively increases attack against dragon type monsters, and the effect rises based on her hate. The skill is considered to be the strongest in terms of output. So far Desperate is the only weapon that's managed to survive being used with the skill except for Sword Ale, as Ais didn't want to break the bond between her and Riveria and the others (presumably Finn, Riveria, and Gareth). She's cracked Desperate once before when she accidentally released black wind (not really sure) when she used her magic with it

The Loki Familia may act though, but they're all a bunch of softies.

As you said, Finn being the one to propose joining forces with the Xenos was quite unexpected.

Here is my take on its implications regarding the main story, from a post of mine on the Wiki.

Sadly, this increases the chance of the Xenos appearing in volume XIV.

Them being part of the Knossos subjugation team means that they are in communication with Fels, who can send them to Bell as reinforcements.

Although it would be a great way to pay him back for all he did for them, it would be terrible for Ryuu's development.

Getting your ass handed to you before having it saved by a bunch of talking monsters would be quite anticlimactic, and so far removed from the life-changing conclusion we had in mind.

If it came to that, I would rather have Loki Familia save the day.

If Omori's goal is for Ryuu to get closure and turn a new page by joining Hestia Familia, then having a third party take care of the beast that annihilated her Familia would be counterproductive.

As for the identity of their would-be saviors, Loki Familia would be redundant, Hermes Familia would bring nothing to the story, except increasing the chance that Ryuu will join their ranks (close with Aisha and Asfi, currently part of their party in the Knossos subjugation effort, operating in the gray zone, willing to defraud the Guild by omitting information or outright lying, know her real identity, etc.), Tsubaki will likely come to the aid of the expedition party on the 25th floor instead, along with her latest creation; Freya Familia is far from being Ouranos' go-to, and the other Familia are totally irrelevent, Ganesha's aside.

Since Hermes Familia is already in Knossos, we can't discount that possibility. The same goes for the Xenos, but we've seen enough of them already, although Omori might disagree.

This leaves us with two interesting outcomes:

1. Ryuu and Bell are able to fend for themselves, possibly via a Battle Royale.

2. The Hostess of Fertility closes shop for the day in order to come to Ryuu's rescue, which would be the best possible send-off for her.

Mia's presence would be overkill, but a team comprised of Chloe, Lunoire and Arnya would be quite a force to contend with.

As for my own preference, a Battle Royale would be hard to beat.

Erm, before we consider Ryuu joining any familia at all, isn't it necessary for the head god/dess of her own familia to dissolve her blood contract with her first? If I recall correctly, that's the actual reason Lily could not have joined Hestia Familia earlier, and the goddess of Ryuu's old Familia was exiled, not dead.

P.S: Fels was said to be changed over to Oranos Familia, but his case is rather different cos he doesn't even have flesh on his back to be updated on any more.

There is a conversion clause that can be added to one's Falna, which makes it possible for them to change Familia in the absence of their deity (e.g. Phobos and Welf).

Since Astraea, a caring and benevolent goddess, exiled herself from Orario, never to return, she would have logically included said clause to Ryuu's status in order for her to eventually find happiness, not to mention that they had all the time in the world to do so.

Ryuu being unable to update her status, even if she wanted to, is leaving her vulnerable to Evilus' retribution, whose members keep getting individually stronger.

When it comes to fighting, stagnation is death.

Eh, that's if Astraea did include it, but i found it strange that Ryuu did not look for another familia sooner if that was the case. Her main goal had been to take revenge after all, and it won't have mattered to her which familia she joined as long as the evil guys were dead.

She already completed her revenge and was completely ready to accept death but Syr saved her.

Ryuu stayed at Hostess of Fertility because she owed Syr and Mia (the spinoff explains how Mia and Syr got Ryuu to owe them). However, whenever Ryuu hears evilus she just gets very angry lets just say.

Ryu is blacklisted. The only familia that would usually accept her are familia that do the exact contrary as what Ryu believes in.
If you want her to join any "proper" familia, she would need first to get that blacklist revoked.

She has allies close of the guild so hope is not lost. The higher up on Ganesha familia have fought alongside her and the other from Astraea familia members to protect the innocents and order back then, and apparently still respect her, as it was proven by Ganesha familia's leader Shakti purposely letting Ryu escape less than a few months back, and even fighting alongside her on floor 18. And Ganesha familia is the guild's biggest ally. Having the "Ankus of the Elephant God", one of the most powerful and most respected adventurer as your ally -and friend- is massive for Ryu.
She helps Hestia familia and Hermes familia that are two familia that are into the biggest secrets that the guild hides from public knowledge.
Having her honour restored and the ban lifted may indeed be a matter of time and done by the end of this arc.

Having Shakti and Ganesha Familia on her side didn't help her the first time around. We know that Ganesha Familia will value protecting the status quo above all. It's one thing to let Ryuu go when everyone thinks she's dead, it's another to publically go to bat for her.

The problem is that Ryuu really did commit the crimes she accused of.

Even if leverage was brought to bear to get her off the blacklist, the Guild's position is already precarious due to the Xenos incident, and letting a known criminal go would make it worse, especially if she then goes and joins Hestia Familia, a group that was involved in said incident.

Plus, what kind of life would Ryuu be able to have in Orario even if she was cleared? People would inevitably treat her like a criminal and a murderer.

The best way is simply to let the Gale die and Ryuu Lion can join Hestia Familia, while the Guild looks the other way.
