^ Thanks for sharing. I thought the opening was quite good. Yes, Necalli does seem to be a top candidate for final boss. Or what they could do is have each character have their own final boss like Alpha 1 and 2. We'll find out soon enough.

Not long to go now.

I grabbed the season pass of GreenMan Gaming since they had a 20% off discount code going as well. I know I said I wasn't going to spend any money on characters back in dec but I really liked using Cammy in beta 4 so I went from sorta lukewarm to hyped after that. Probably helped I was able to use an arcade stick for the first time.... they probably enabled it for beta 3 but I couldn't be f'd playing it.

Also considering that they're offering arcade mode costume unlocks you can use fight money on I think I'll just use my FM on that and whatever else they offer in shop.

So despite the early problems and lack of contents. I have enjoyed this game so far. Online when it works, has been great. Though there were lot of shitty connections. The loading time can be really long but today was pretty decent.

Well I do hope they iron out all the little problems soon.

Just got the game and here's my short ranty review

It's not a good buy for casual players, but many casuals can learn the moves easily, graphics are good, but there are not day and night or weather cycles unlike in SFIV like in the Africa stage on the eclipse and other dynamic stages as well, arcade mode is not present(A MUST IN ANY FIGHTING GAME!) which Capcom said they will look into to it, DLC chart full dlc characters will be released in September 2016, fight money will be a grind, that's why there are special bosses on challenge mode that can be defeated with only certain attacks, unnecessary censorship on R.Mika's butt slap along with the other characters, more DLC characters "IF" fan demands them. You know what Capcom just put all the DLC characters in the story mode that where teased. C.Viper, Decapre, the dolls, Sakura, Gouken and so on. As a SF fan I wish I didn't buy it day 1 so best advise for those who haven't bought the game yet, wait for a price drop and grind don't buy the season pass with the SFV theme.

The Laura, Nash, and Karin ones look good. The Mika one will take getting used to... but it's not bad. As for Rashid, all they really need to do is use his alternate designs found in the art book... since those were actually pretty decent designs. Also, Alex's theme...

From the new costume Nash is clearly the best. Rashid, Dhalsim, Laura, and Fang aren't that bad but very eccentric. Karin is... ok, I think it might grow on me. But holy fuck Ken LOOOOOOOOOOOL.

As for the other updates, fucking love 2/3 ranked matches. Less salty when I lose now since there is less down time and I can just focus on matches.

If we're to believe all the datamined images, things planned to be sold in the shop include:
Fighter Profile backgrounds
Premium Skins
Story Skins
Character colours 11-15 (3-10 are already unlocked via Survival, no indication that they can be unlocked via shop)
and, of course, Characters.

Interesting; hopefully they have the good sense to include a version of that 'operator' outfit for Nash based on the classic/story-mode-unlock skin (i.e. without the Victor-esque alterations).

The servers are still complete garbage. How Capcom is unable to fix that issue after six weeks is beyond me. I'm tired of waiting 5 minutes for an opponent, just to be disconnected from the game server.
