Hirano is definitely playing the PR game, but since I'm partial to her Konata and Suzumiya-Haruhi-chan, I'll let it go. Besides, I can't bear to look down on a cute girl, even if she's a bit of a Libby.
Haruka needs the connections, and some stage work too. Acting on stage would help immensely to raise her game. Just comparing two starlets. Still, in Japan, the female catalogue of seiyu is staggeringly long. I still can't believe President TB is Ryuji from Toradora.

So. Freaking. Funny.
Ok, I'll probably regret this but... can someone spoil me and PM me the reason for that awkward silence when Saku's mom asks to give her regards to Mihoshi's parents? It's probably what I think it is but I'd rather be sure...

I'll be getting ep 2 in a few minutes... but as for episode... I don't think I've laughed that hard in a long time. This show is absolute WIN! Definitely a keeper. And I admit, I'm reminded of Haruhi, but it doesn't go to the extreme that Haruhi did, which is probably why I'm liking it better than Haruhi
man, summer has a ton of the stuff I like this time

Kind of ironic for you to be saying stuff about making fun of someone (be it 2D or 3D). HAHAHAHA
Talk about getting a small role this time I was surprised~ Talking about seiyuus of the series isn't on topic? (Don't answer that)

How in the world did you guys get into this subject...
Meh anyway I had this funny wondering in my head when they mentioned reaching out to people about their club to teach them about what they do, but honestly what else do they do but stargaze? Doesn't even seem like a good subject for a club since you can't do it immediately after school like all other ones and your screwed on rainy days... Guess they'll address that more next episode it looks like just seems like a inappropriate thing to make a club out of and I can understand the council president wanting to shut them down...

Astronomy is definitely more than stargazing. After watching K-On, I think what the club could do is to introduce the science of space exploration to the school. There's a whole lot of stuff which can be taught.

This show just gets funnier and funnier. Also the animation and the production value is rock solid and very consistent.
As for Hirano Aya, I actually think she's in it for the LONG term because she does a lot of side roles like this as they come and are required. I just loved seeing Hime seethe with Aya's high pitched anger spasms. I didn't really expect a 'beautiful moment involving the subject matter' thing so soon, but I'm glad we got it. This show obviously has a deep appreciation for the subject, and I guess they're using the research (according to the credits) to good use. Very tasteful. |

Oh wait, that other series' background is an all-girls high-school. Perhaps I'm looking for respectable male leads at the wrong place... ... and now I have arrived to what I'd describe as my right place.

Again, similar to K-On, our Council President is pissed about the amount of money spent. Probably smarter to cough up the money themselves than to ask for funding. At least, Ritsu is smart enough to reject Yui's request to use club funds.

Well, as personal growth, I expect Saku to eventually understand the importance of interaction with people. Very vital skill at the workplace. As for Mihoshi... concept of personal space. Yes, please let her understand that. And I just realised that President TB's name means "healthy". As for Saku and Mihoshi, the new moon and beautiful stars..... I see where this is going.

It was entertaining for what it was. I laughed sometimes, though there are also some moments where all I thought was "Ah, right, this is a Funny Scene™ ©" Definitely like the characters though. And Hime's shoujo fantasy of Saku was amusing. My "fun but forgettable" statement from last week carries on.
