Yeah these things can get a bit confusing at times. I mean they can touch the machine and stay inside it. But when outside they can't touch objects like flowers. But they can stand on the ground without falling through the earth or something. So if they tried to step on the flowers would that work?

But anyways at any rate the next episode should be fun since we might find out more behind what Shizuno and Shima are up to.

well the ship and the zega are real. kyo and the other are projected image from the sever. you can say that the ship and the zega are like a light projectors. so kyo are just images that the zega projected on the group. so when the image try to touch the grass it go pass it. and i believe the zega projected the image so that it looks like they are standing on the ground

Yes all of them exists as projections. Mei Yu told Kyo that if he walks too far from the Zega, he will disappear. They only exist as far as there's a projector around.

actully it's not the translating part, i already finish those two eps, just that some of our staff is getting ready for college moving and stuff so thing are not getting done. and also we do need a extra timer, our current one went mia after his b-day more editor is better, as my english is not that good

2 episodes behind is not slow. If they were 10 episodes behind, I might start to worry a bit. The modern fansub world is spoiled by speedsubbers.

It is a pitty that the blog stopped. It was an excellent way to understand some of the finer points of what was happenning even if you had the raw. But hey, school takes priority over everything as we all know.

Yup,

In the old days we had walk 50 miles to get our fansubs. Through gator infest rivers and climb mountain with posionous snakes. Then we had to wait months between every ep as old vhs fansubbers waited for thier Laserdisc arrive.

I am REALLY, really glad that they kept Kaminagi (I knew that she was going to bite it at some point).

She's just one of those characters that sticks to you.

Question: Who else thinks that Zegapain was created after someone saw the second and third Matrix movies and thought to themselves, "Shit, I can do it better."

damn, kaminagi tugs at the heartstrings. the plot is definitely ramping up at a high speed, toward what is hopefully a powerful conclusion -- shima on the verge of disappearing, kyo at an emotional impasse between the footprint on his heart left behind by shizuno and the memories and feelings he has now for kaminagi, kuroshiyo(sp?) wanting to take the easy way out and live forever like the gards-olm...all great stuff. even though it seems like kyo will choose shizuno in the end, i'm still rooting for kaminagi.

I have concluded that Kaminagi fails as a character.

I do not like pity based characters, and she's really overplaying her schtick. I had enough of these characters in other shows, thank you.

There's obviously something wrong when I care more about Bright Noah Jr then her.

I don't think they are touching the zegapains, or even inside the ship. Look at the controls, their all based on them touching some kind of hologram. So they aren't actually touching anything real. Though I didn't pay to close attention so I could be wrong.

Yeah. But it doesnt mean anything even if they DO touch anything there. Zegapain and their ship KNOW they are holograms, and have a direct feedback to the computer behind them.

Thats why those can simply make them feel "i touch the controls" even though they dont physcially do. Its just "force feedback" in software.
But allthesame, flowers lack that kind of computing power, thus no touching.

Of course, the old fallacy applies here, too: they _should_ really fall through the floor, too. But that wouldnt be fun, and is always ignored when dealing with holograms, ghosts,ect...
