well it is nice that ellie has a lot of support because normally all the women around the mc want a piece of him. I won't get my hopes up still, there is ciel that while sincere she is still playing the spy and noir is the female lead so that is like she already won.

Ep 07: Well, that turned into Macross really quickly with Ciel. For a split second I thought I heard Aya Endo in her voice, but, alas, it is another VA.

Not to mention that Kanata's combat abilities shot up a 1000% with her as his Magus.

At least she now proved her worth to be in the series aside from "culture".

And, yeah, the MC having a childish "don't treat me as a child, maaaaan!" moment just when the biggest catastrophe of the story so far is hitting was a tad bad timing.

last chapter next, I thought this was going to have 24 chapters. I was ready to see a major death in the next chapter.

for not being blood related Tokio really acts like a real big brother to Kanata, dude even woke up from his injuries due to brotherly love.

So yeah, this is a split 2-cour. Sure makes you cherish the anime that are actually 2-cour and not ask you to wait several months, eh?

Anyways... I think the biggest problem with the story was the protagonist. He's pretty useless. And if the story understands this and has him grow as a character, that is fine, but this anime is all "Wow, he's so awesome! He did a great job!" and he hasn't done anything. Even the final episode, his girlfriend changed colors and pwned the enemy.

I guess that is why any non-story episode was more enjoyable. You get to just stare at the girls and not face the lackluster story or the protagonist.

Also, the mecha are lame. Considering this is a mecha anime, that's not a good thing. Even though the parts not involving the mecha were more interesting to watch.

Noir went from a kuudere type to a tsundere type, two for the price of one robot waifu I guess, lol.

That was actually an all-around solid show. Yeah, the mech designs were kinda "meh", but I found the charaters likeable and the story was passable enough, with enough intrigue to keep the interest going. Also, good character designs, overall. 7,5/10, looking forward to the second cour.

black noir looks way better than white noir. I hope she stays but I doubt it or kanata wins her over and can change between the two of them and have a dual magus skill.

7/10 is fair, it was nice overall but nothing too special.

It was just quirky enough with the characters to get the bump. I hope they keep the silly world and character interactions going into the 2nd cour.
