Hmm... they skipped some of my favorite arcs from the manga, but overall I think this episode was pretty good for what it was. Way better than the mangled mess of the first two seasons. I think we might be missing some attachment to important characters whose captures were skipped (although they told you the gist of it in the beginning), but if they flesh them out a bit more through smaller flashbacks once we meet them I don't think it'll be a major problem.

While i'm sad they didn't animate the other girls stories, i'm still glad there's a third season and this episode was good.

Well - I dunno. For me not keeping to the chronological order of the manga makes sense to me (in the sense that a season of "the same old thing" before this one would prolly not sell very well), I am still very disappointed that they are doing so. This also indicates to me that they might be changing the "finale" some.

Ah well. Will keep giving it a try.
