Ohayo! (Can i say that?) Hello, I've loved anime since i was in grade school. My first fave anime movie was, Venus Wars. And I think my first fave series was Yu Yu Hakusho. But I also had a period where I became void of anime. I think it was I started dating girls. But now I'm back and I guess it would be cool to have a girl 'friend' who loves anime as much as I do.

I've been a read-only participant for a while now but I decided to make an account and start posting. I'll try my best to add something useful to these discussions.

The Spring 2014 season looks like it will be a good one. I have high expectations for Date A Live II, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka, No Game No Life, and many other anime as well.

What's up, people!

I'm James Marston (not my real name, obviously), and I decided to join this thread, because hey, a large anime forum? Count me in, please!

I like anime that are psychologically complex, such as Fullmetal Alchemist (Manga and Brotherhood) and Monster, but I also like easygoing slice of life works, such as Azumanga Daioh, Yotsubato&!, and ARIA.

Oh, and I hate gratuitous fanservice, power-inflation, major plot holes, overpowered main characters, and so on.

Hi! I'm a newbie teenage boy from Argentina.
Just a little few months ago (I think it was middle December), I started watching anime and stuff. So, I'm in the way of knowing more and much more (my new friend is an Otaku)
I started with the gory yet beautiful Elfen Lied.. I loved it! what a nice start (actually, I started with Lucky Star... I left in episode 7, I'm not ready to fully enoy it yet)
I tend to like:

Music: I like listening to music. Anime has those beautiful and unique songs (that's one of "main" reasons I started to watch, actually), as such Japan music. I love to get to know more. I also have an acoustic guitar, also months ago... I'm dreaming for more instruments and experience.
I'm looking to the guitarist (or musicians, more general) section. I want to look for advices and stuff.
...I'm currently watching K-On!

Comedy stuff
I may love music, and so, I like emotival, or beautiful manga/anime. (I may like to get to know moe xD) People talk about Clannad... So I'll see it soon.
