I wonder if the teachers have their own Abnormalities... if they do, they're probably not as ridiculous as those of the Flask Plan candidates, or abominations like Medaka, huh?

Nice catch... Another similarity:

- Sakugo was shown getting hugged by Ajimu and defeated...
-- In the same way, Namanie was sort of hugged by Zenkichi and bitten... (I guess close contact defeat is what they have in common?)

- Kariteru was beaten by using beast-like skills...
-- Sui admitted to always being on all fours like a beast...

Speaking of who might be from what family:

I think the blond is from the Kugurugi family... The small one is most likely from the Yuzuriha family. The one with a blanket on her head is from the Kotobuki family and the remaining black-haired one is from the Momozono family. (The kid might also be from the Kotobuki family though, and so, the one with the blanket would be in the Yuzuriha family.)

Well, the kid seems to be the ring-leader, so she'd have that in common with Yuzuhira's double.

Well, I'd have to say this chapter was kind of a dissapointment. There really wasn't any significant development for Naze at all.

But anyway, I actually enjoyed it. True, it wasn't top notch entertainment but they can't all be mater pieces innit?

I was relieved that this battle is over.

When that suitor was about to take the final attack and Naze asked if her readings were correct or incorrect and the suitor smiled, I cringed. Fortunately, the attack hit!

I'm interested what the big-breasted suitor can do though.

I just love how this manga takes meta-awareness to whole new levels of insanity.

Hopefully, the styles of the remaining suitors will be able to top what was already shown.

this manga should be called METAbox and medaka's name can be metaka

from my understanding meta is related to weird/new physics so it kinda relates to the level of new insanity each arc of this manga

and lol the suitors wants medaka's blood, i assume the blood of medaka will be use for genetic purposes like cloning her or just cloning her power or abnormality

"Meta" is a Greek-derived prefix meaning "beyond", and generally gets used to describe topics that are about themselves. Um... that's a bad description... Metalogic is logic about logical systems (what is true about all problems solved by this system?). Metaphysics is physics about physics (what actually exists that physics describes?). Metagaming is gaming about gaming (how do other people play?).

What's happening here is "metafiction". Fiction about fiction. Words about words. It's about taking a step back and looking at things from a wider perspective.

You know which's the best thing about this chapter?

The group lost. Kujira won, but the plane is gonna crash because it ran out of fuel.

And the use of styles is just awesome. I love this manga.

Now that that's over, it seems the new Student Council has yet another tagalong. I wonder which suitor is next....and who will fight them?

Plus it's known that some of the enemies come back, some in solid positions, after each arc

Naze, Koga, Kei
Misogi, Mukae
Ajimu, Hanten, Shori

Kamome was never an "enemy" outright more than being Zenkichi's ally. So I wonder what suitors will be making apperances after this arc is over?

One thing I've always liked about Medaka Box is how it manages to balance genuine drama and sheer, ridiculous stupidity.

What we're in right now is essentially a lot like the early bits of the Flask Plan arc... there will be a shift towards a darker tone towards the end of this, I almost guarantee it. Probably involving Tsurubami.
