I don't think so. She probably shows how the closed room murders were carried out...Like an example?

Bricks were shat. Reminds me too much of Yume Nikki's Uboa for my liking. >m<;;

Of course, saving on MS Paint in jpeg form ruined the quality. ;_;

We know that it's a painting behind her so it can be nothing (only dead trees and a shadow painted) or maybe it's a hint about any character...

I found that close up terrifying for some odd reason. Guess who's not getting sleep tonight?

@Ttack: While it may be just a painting for decoration, I highly doubt that artists paint just for the hell of it. Assuming there has to be some painter in the Umineko universe, they must be commissioned to paint, perhaps even down to the details and symbolism.... of some sort, I guess. I'm trying to stop imagining it as Uboa and think of it as something meaningful xD

Here we go! That figure in the background painting could be a representation of Death. I think earlier in the topic I read that there was a river of blood or something in the painting (I read that and I miss the post pointing out the figure? wtf, me) must have something to do with death. Maybe tied in to the hand and blood at the bottom of the portrait?

Assuming it is from the past, it could be like hinting to their deaths. But we all know that they die.

Actually, disregard everything I just said these last two paragraphs, as I made no sense. I'll go back to lurking now. ^^;

I don't think we should judge it being a certain character. It looks like it's wearing a robe, so it can really be anyone.
