Anyone got any suggestions? Suzuka was quite a unique mix of genres I found, but it is probably one of my favourite series (I'm holding out for the ever rumoured season 2).

Go get Honey & Clover, the plot is not only better than Suzuka's but the characters are actually likable!

Canvas 2 - i liked it more than Suzuka, and the characters don't act in a way that makes you want to punch your monitor.

Already seen H&C/H&C2 both were cool

In the series they become a couple at the beginning of the series and are boyfriend and girlfriend and dating and in a relationship with lots of kissing and sex, marriage, engagements, proposals.

Bokura ga Ita Great realistic romance series where the couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend during the beginning of the series.

Kare Kano The couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend during the beginning of the series.

Marmalade Boy Great realistic romance series.

The Devil Does Exist

Wild Act

High School Debut

Ceres Celestial Legend

Fushigi Yuugi Great romance/fantasy series, the manga is a lot longer and better than the anime.

Peach Girl Realistic series

Mars Dramatic series, the couple becomes boyfriend/girlfriend during the beginning of the series, manga.

Happy Hustle High

Ultra Cute

Shuffle! if you don't mind harem.
Da Capo is worth a watch.
Gunparade March - might seem like mecha, but it really is about the relationship between the two main characters... the mecha is simply the background setting you won't be seeing at all in the later eps.
Lamune - one of my favorite romance series. Truly heart warming and peaceful.
