Well, I'd list both Yuy's of course... but I'd also list that name under Duo's section.
Continuing my information dump (via my website): ORGANIZATIONS 【組織】 Alliance Forces Special Operations Squad Colonial Affairs Consultative Organization* Cosmo Armada Earth Sphere Unified Nation Lanagren Republic Maguanac Noinheim Concern OZ Preventers Sanc Kingdom WORLD 【世界】 Colonial Unification Declaration Cyrene School Endemic Disease of Mars Eve Wars First Lunar War Heart of Outer Space Proclamation Mariemaia Uprising Mars Terraforming Martian Martian State Declaration of Independence Maxwell Church Tragedy MO-VIII Ocean of Storms Wars Operation Mythos PPP Principles of Total Pacifism The Common Cold of the Colonies World Nation LOCATIONS 【地名】 Africa Argyre Planitia Chryse Sea Cyrene Deimos Elysium Island Hellas Planitia L2 Colony V08744 L3 Colony L4 Colony R09935 L-5 A00206 Colony Lake Victoria Lanagren Sea Marius Plant Mars Mogadishu MO-VII Olympus Mons Phobos Preventer Martian Base Relena City Saint Minerva Institution Schbeiker Orphanage Valles Marineris Winner Hospital Yellowknife * This title is a bit of a stretch... コロニー問題協議機関 is the Japanese title. It's literally Colony Problem Council/Conference Organization/Agency However, there's a Inter-Govermental Maritime Consultative Organization that uses the last four kanji in it's 'translated' title. Phew

Didn't Walker make an appearance at one point? Gaining a first name (Oswald?) in the process?
I have a rather biased foreigner's ear and as such am not entirely fit to discuss the pros and cons of one spelling over another in an English translation. But as someone who knows actual people called Marleen, I would just like to point out that that name, as pronounced in German/Dutch/similar Germanic languages, sounds more like Marlayne, rather than the English name Marlene. Also, are you going to stick to the Van spelling instead of Vingt? Shame. It would break the tradition of elegant-looking and accurately spelled names in that family. /pedantic ALL THAT SAID, seeing that list is really exiting for some reason. Thank you Deacon. Just out of curiosity, could anyone tell me the original kanji for Eleve, Laphroaig, Malyne/Marleen and Zayed? And Ma-whatever Darlian - that IS Relena's adoptive mother, right? |

Walker appeared in the The Glory of Losers manga *cringes at the new title*.
As for the others: Good catch on the "Van" part. Seeing that I'm reading the Traitor to Destiny story for Advance of Zeta, THAT character is named Van. :/ エルヴ・オネゲル ラフロイグ・ピート マリーネ・ドーリアン ザイード・タブラ・ウィナー

Working on getting some photos up now...they're crap, but I'm assuming someone will do some better scans at some point.
Edit: http://s1129.photobucket.com/albums/m518/allison13151/ Yeah soo...crappy. And mostly sideways. But you'll get the idea, I'm sure. There were a couple more things with the MG kits and a full color page of some stuff we've already seen, just as a sort of "summary" I think. If anyone wants to see those before someone does better scans I can do that. This is all just the FT art for this month + MG Epyon. |

No prob I wish they would have released a few more pictures with these past few issues. Seems like we're not getting as many as we did at first.
But, good news is we're getting closer to seeing FT Duo possibly? Wonder if they're just holding out for suspense or if they don't ever plan to illustrate any of the 5 pilots, minus Heero. @Kitsoru - Seriously. |

You know, even if they do do an illustration of him, he'll probably look exactly the same, but with slightly smaller eyes and possibly shorter hair? |

Yeeeeah that's what I figure which is why I don't get why they're being such cockteases about it. That's just the name for the virus that killed Solo. Backstory stuff we already knew. |

Edit: Wasn't there some mention about Quatre not aging at some point? |

I don't think it said he didn't age, it just said he still had a youthful vigor/look to him, ie, he 'aged well', as they say. |

I wasn't able to log on for a few days. Like others have said, full armor Sandrock is bad-ass. Also, I liked the picture of Hilde at Duo's bedside too. Asagi really captured the nagging nature of the conversation.

...for some reason this Hilde pic reminds me of that character in Detective Conan/Case closed.
Spoiler for lulz:
And Kurage, Sumizawa spells 'schwarz' with a 't'. As far as orthography in other languages goes, I wouldn't mind 'official Japanese' spelling. Then again, Milliardo ought to be Milliard if spelled correctly. On that note, one thousand in Greek is 'chilia' without an 's'. But I can understand the need to add it to make the name sound more masculine. Was Katrina Peacecraft mentioned in FT? |

@ Deacon Blues: Thank you! Much appreciated.
By the way, I was looking at the gundam wiki just now and saw a Million Liddell-Hart in the character list? @ Washu-chan: Hilde worked as a librarian for a while, right? I guess that's how she dressed at the time. Glasses! |

Ugh, this is starting to really grind my gears with so many flipping linguistic divergences for names. How so? I'll explain. We have the character Lucrezia Noin. Noin is supposed to be German for 'nine' (neun). Well, her wonderful brothers name is a hybrid of French and German. Dixneuf Neuenheim. *applauds* His name means 19 New Homes.
So thus proves the trick in explaining any sort of lineage towards one another.
