First anime? Mazinger Z, waaaaay back when I was elementary school age. Yeah, I probably ran around "rocket punch"-ing other kids. Next was Star Blazers/Space Cruiser Yamato - this was my first anime movie as well. Then nothing memorable until Robotech and Voltron (yeah, yeah, I know, edited and all) in junior high school, and fansubbed Megazone 23 II thanks to the high school anime club.
Those may be my "firsts" and all, but I have absolutely no desire to see them again. I 've tried and couldn't force myself through more than the opening minutes of each, so count me as one who can't understand why people are overjoyed at getting Voltron on DVD. Either these shows didn't age well - or I didn't. |

Man the first two series that I was serious about watching them through was Naruto and Bleach, and both had 1230947132432970 episodes. I remember watching Elfen Lied, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Love Hina all at once so I'm not really sure. I'll lean towards Elfen Lied.
