This tells me that he gave Jae Gu the poisoned food not even caring who ate it. So the siblings might not have been the exact targets but they were still in range of the target area.

Mi Nam tapped out and confessed to the referee that he had seen the white-haired guy take off his glove. He was like, "That means I'm DQ'ed, right?"

So Jae Gu technically won by default because Mi Nam (by the by, his name happens to translate to "handsome") is an honourable guy and he seems to respect Jae Gu's determination. I think he wants to see him fight Han Gyul (Redhead Prick). And I think he also has a new-found respect for Moon Young.

Satisfying conclusion to this match. Lee Mi Nam really has a strong sense of honor. As expected he has the potential to become the protagonist's first male friend. Didn't expect Jae Gu to pull of such a decent kick, even though once again, just right into his opponents guard.

Anyway, with the skills he has shown Jae Gu should be able to steamroll redhead, who has mostly been shown to be a slacker with no extensive fighting training and who was most powerful when with a group of people.

Jae-Gu showed a lot of improvement but it was obvious Lee Mi-Nam would've won. About what I expected tbh. The red haired prick should be an easy win though as he doesn't cheat somehow(which im expecting).

I guess even though Mi Nam had a higher chance of winning due to his skills and experience, I think his main intention was to show how far Jae Gu has progressed to give the redhead a better outlook on what to expect than to beat him. Or perhaps he wanted the fight between them to be fair, so he didn't want to beat him up. Whatever his motives are, I'm sure they were noble, since he told on himself about his previous battle. Can't help but respect the guy.

We don't know that for sure. Clearly, he was surprised at what Jae Gu can do. He just assumed that because Jae Gu was so anxious at showing his skills, that he is just a newbie and would ultimately lose. No different than Moon Young assuming that Jae Gu can win based on all the training he did, as she has had a skirmish with Mi Nam before. Since both of them were shown to be sweating, and neither out of breath, nor able to hit each other, there's no way to know absolutely which way the fight would go, though again, the ball would be in Mi Nam's camp due to his experience. I think that Jae Gu kicking like Queen showed him to and Mi Nam's inexperience in dealing with kicks may have been the turning card in the match. Too bad we'll never know =02.

Mi Nam already said that he doesn't really have any interest in a tournament that doesn't conform to the rules of boxing. He only entered to fight Moon Young, another boxer. The street fighter was a bonus goal later, of course.

Mi Nam defended against all of Jae Gu's attacks perfectly. When Jae Gu had to defend, he was thrown back, even if he could follow Mi Nam's movements. I think Mi Nam would have won if he went on the offensive, but it's a waste seeing how he only cared about fighting Moon Young. With what Jae Gu showed him, I think he got enough of a taste of what Moon Young can do.

He was only thrown back because of the power difference between Moon Young and Mi Nam's punches. If your expecting 20lbs of force because you're used to it and all of a sudden 40lbs of force comes at you, you're gonna fall over. That doesn't mean you can't handle 40lbs of force, it just means you weren't expecting it. This is especially so since he gave a light jab before using a stronger punch.
