Any other groups doing gundam seed destiny?

Other then the groups who released the commercial subs will any of the well known fan subbers do this series?

Unless Bandai opens their gun ports, most probably. Gundam is pretty high-profile.

This series definitely needs to be subbed because it probably won't ever get licensed.

That was the best line ever. This needs to be quoted frequently.

Here's hoping HaroHaro resurfaces when Destiny is officially licensed with 7 episodes remaining like Seed was

Well, seeing as Bandai USA hasn't seen fit to warn off fansub groups from Destiny at Otakon, we've got enough reason to believe that they'll pull the same stunt again. The only question is how many DVDs worth of episodes will they try to force groups to not sub.

I wouldn't mind encoding on Seed Destiny since I helped on 1st season, but I don't know if its worth the effort. Bandai will be on it ASAP most likely and I don't want to encode for one of the bajillion fly-by-night speedgroups. Maybe if Aone still plans on it *shrug* Plus leechers wouldnt know quality if it bit them in the arse hehe

Why would you even bother with Gundam Jedi?

I'm kinda disappointed... I thought you were better than that.

Well, if it means anything, I think everyone in this forum would appreciate it greatly if you are able to encode high quality Raws for everyone. There will always be noobies who do not know better. Everyone has to go through a phase before they become more acquianted with anime fansubbing. I'm sure that we all went through that phase but once you pass that phase, you begin to appreciate the nuances of the different fansubs and encodes.

I do not see why they need to warn anyone in the first place. It is a Gundam series. Is their any doubt that it will be licensed? Also, there is a possibility that Bandai did not have clearance to announce it yet at Otakon as Jerry wanted to make 5 announcements and only made 3.

Hm.. I actually thought lots of subs of this series would be a good thing.. until I realized this is not 1½ years ago, meaning there will be a fuckload of speedsubs of this. I'd want to see Anime-Gundam and Shinseiki-Illuminati (and maybe Aoshi too, since they were a part too) jointing like they did with Seed, they were simply the best . Ah well, I just hope a there will be a sub with superior quality etc, not necessarily fast.. and maybe by a group that releases licensed stuff too. We all know this will be licensed around the middle.

Aoshi and SI are, to the best of my knowledge, dead/inactive.

You make it sound like it's a good thing for a group to continue after licensing. (Ah well, I won't beat this old dog anymore)

And why not after it's licensed. hehe. long live socialism! And I am in China so this comment seemed appropriate. (I know, Chinese aren't socialist)

We europeans actually want to be able to see the second half of a series after it's licensed :P, I think the UK recently got like Trigun and stuff.. I mean.. I watched that stuff years ago oO. (Also note that that's the UK and that obviously doesn't mean that Sweden would buy the series as well, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo, we're stuck with millions of people still thinking anime is only for kids).
