I'll be requesting for some avies from episode 9

Time:
7:48 - 7:50 (Yui playing the guitar after eating a piece of cake)
15:03 - 15:04 (Mio reaching for Ritsu's photo -- pls. include them both)
17:50 - 17:52 (Sawa tugging to Mugi -- pls. include both of them)

Size: 100X100
Extra: Border and loop pls!

and Keiya, I'm not sure there's a single (freeware) program for mkv conversion, since an mkv file can have lots of different channels and whatnot, and conversion isnt just a straight shot. when I do it, I extract the video track, audio track, and subtitle track (if it exists) from the mkv file, convert the video and audio to .avi and .mp3 respectively, then compile all three and compress them into a video/audio .avi using virtualdubmod.

not sure if having a better video file is going to make the avie look better, since you are re-sizing the avatar to 100 X 100. Anything you get on torrents should work just fine, usually (though I tend to pick video files that are over 200 mb...
