(sorry I only watched the first half of MJP before dropping it so lots of thing that I don't understand. But that's also the reason we have separate thread for each series, isn't it?)

my point is you guys can move your heated(?) discussion there make it more lively, especially since it was out of topic here and it's really "quiet" there.

quiet not just because people finished commenting about the latest episode but really quiet compared other shows (including the other two mecha shows) this season

well the void thing was definitely a plot device in the strictest sense of the word since he basically would just pull whatever he needed that week after going through his cycle. The "tension" mostly came from trying to get him off his ass. In all fairness to critics of L-Elf though he is treading a similar line with only Haruto and Saki managing to get the best of him to date. His Macguyverness could prove interesting as long as it doesn't become a writers crutch and isnt abused though.

I've often wondered about the psychology behind people who hate "McGuyverness" and people who don't.

Let's see how L-Elf is introduced again to the rest of the characters and how Haruto gets them to agree to keep quiet about him and how Shoko, whose mostly in the dark, will deal with the guy that "bullied" Haruto.

I'm not sure how this anime is going to transition back to a school setting but it looks like thats were its ahead next episode.

With escape option out of their hands L-Elf would likely force Haruto to fight in the Valvrave again to defeat the Dorssia fleet.

Here's it says some details about the upcoming fifth episode, but I'm pretty sure they say something about the bathing sequences (finally the Shoko's bathing scene will most likely come!).

If Shoko is bathing than there's most likely going to have a scene where Haruto accidently sees her and becomes flustered.

Maybe. But at this stage I am expecting a curve ball. I don't trust Sunrise to air a normal episode of VVV.

Please don't mention EVOL... The sour taste is still in my mouth over how they treated poor Zessica.

But yes, Aqaurion series had openly gay characters so if it happened in Valvrave it wouldn't be something new.

Though a love quad between Haruto, Shoko, Saki, and L-Elf would be hilarious.

Both seem like pretty competitive types along with L-Elf with Haruto being the counterpoint to them in the only character that likes to avoid competition and being at odds with others. With the show seeming to have the idea of competition and possession as an apparent key theme running through it's very veins it wouldn't surprise me to see things escalate in regard to their interest in Haruto.
