Im from Bogotá, Colombia! I've already said it a few times...

to stay on topic and promote my country's places this is the church of "las lajas" in the departament of Nariño, (not my photo I found it on the internet), I went there when I was eight years old and it was amazing, a huge gothic church dracula's castle-like.

Wow - China! What parts did you visit?

That shot with the sun through the clouds looks outstanding - very religious.

Great pictures, very beautiful scenery.

Wow, such nice sunset pictures from everyone.

Hellychan, I like that photo of you on the Great Wall of China. It certainly shows how long it is. How far did you walk?

I would post some photos I took in my recent trip to NYC, but they did not turn out so well...

Heh heh, mantidor so you like sunsets? I like em too! Here's some for you:
Spoiler for sunsets:

At the same place at English Bay where I took those sunset pictures, I watched the Celebration of Light fireworks. Anyone on these forums saw the fireworks? I saw all 4 of them, but only had good pictures for 2 of them. The only problem was on the finale fireworks, where weren't any wind, so the firework smoke built up on top of the ship, blocking light from the fireworks. You'll see what I mean in the Finale Firework pictures.
Spoiler for Spain fireworks:

Here are some weird pictures taken outside my room window:
Spoiler for Twilight Skies & UFO Lights:

These images are no way "photoshipped" or "gimped", but only resized/rotated and compressed.

Curse you people, your nice photos and you obviously 'better than mine' cameras!! Actually, truth be told, since my camera of choice is those cheap little disposable ones nearly any photo should be better. ^^;

Maybe I'll have to post a couple of my better photos...

Here's my contributions. I've posted thumbnails to save bandwidth.

One of the first pictures I took when I got a digital camera was this view of the Houses of Parliament in London:

A lot of swans can be seen in the river not far from where I live:

As well as this gas pipe thing, which used to scare me as a child:

A hound:

Waterloo station:

I'm not actually that keen on this picture, which I called 'Mobile' (the subject was walking pretty speedily and passed a rather apt sign) but people I show it to seem to like it:

I like taking pictures of street performers...:

...As well as frost.

And here's some rather dubious experiments in colour:

I think that's more than enough to burden you with right now.

The majority of these images were taken with my original digital camera, an Olympus C300Z, which automates many settings, but most of the time the flash would be off and the ISO speed at 400. The frost image was taken with my newer C450Z. Most of these are at their original resolutions and are unedited, but the London skyline and the flute player have been trimmed slightly, since they were both rotated about a degree to make lines more horizontal or vertical.

New Zealand-Sky Tower

These are two of my favorite pics I took while in New Zealand. They are from under neath and inside Sky Tower observatory.

This one is taken from directly underneath the observatory. It was taken the night we arrived in Auckland

This one is taken the next day, looking down from inside the Observatory in Sky Tower. You can stand on that glass but as I am severely afraid of heights, I just leaned over and snapped the picture.
