Computer Problem!!!

I really need help with this. So the other day i was making an AMV then the computer just shut down. I couldn't start it back up again. I unplugged and then plugged it back in, it turned on for around 5 mins and then went off.
It keeps making a noise and I don't know why.
its working now but making that noise so i duno how long it will last. :|
Any help? sorry i am not too good at explaining.

Ah! Yes. It may be your fan!
One of the Computers in my house had this problem. It made a really loud noise like a motor bike then shut down every 30minutes. This was due to over heating were the fan had broke. So hot air is going into it, but is not released.

Go buy another fan and maybe even get another one fitted in. Mine has two fans and is much faster than it once was. I don't know if this is right but its worth a try right? ^^'

Figure which fan you need first. Also check all your connections inside your PC it could be that something is loose like memory. My PC has done that before and it turns out that one of my memory sticks was a little loose.

I'll check that! ^_^ my computer has been working for a few hours now though :]

Check the temps, run Memtest86 for Ram errors, run a good antivirus scan(Avast or AVG)
