Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei LN - Anime Comparison & Speculation

I guess some of the dialogs being cut short is just normal for an anime adaptation.

PS: Dammit Haruka-chan looks so much better in the manga illustrations, the anime doesn't do her justice.

Cutting out a fanservice scene? I highly doubt it: that alone would make Mahouka unique in the entire history of anime adaptations

And I don't really feel that Miyuki is being toned down - if she were, that entire "date" question would have been taken out. Besides, she does have a fair amount of self-control in the novels, as least in terms of conscious behaviour.

I won't forgive them

They can cut out Miyuki's fan service but not Erika. All the fan service belongs to Erika!

Anyway probably the things that will get cut out are mostly Mayumi; like the one where Mayumi wanted a little brother; well we dont know what theyre gonna cut so no point in worrying, we just have to wait till release.

It's hard to think they will cut Miyuki's scenes but they better not cut Mayumi's, it was understandable in the 1st episode but I don't want this to happen anymore.

I remember the Tatsuya and Erika date was not in the manga but, as Pampz said, Erika is the main source of fanservice in the series(at this point she is probably the favorite female character of anime viewers, contrarly to Miyuki who gets a lot of hate) and they said they would be faithful to the source material.

^ that is common really, like ln adaptation to anime the only I like is the op and ed, still watching though ....

If they cut erika part certain someone will get .....

I don't recall there being an illustration of Haruka, could you kindly point me to which volume? Or could it be from the manga?

Yeah its not on the manga; even the monolouge of Mizuki from vol. 3 about Erika's relationship isnt.

No worries. I was actually thinking along the same lines... She looks a bit err rounded in the anime... And I was thinking "I definitely saw what she looks like, but where..."

Anyway with regards to; cutting out Haruka's introduction.
I'm curious as to how it will turn out, Tatsuya's first counseling session I mean...

Cutting out the introduction didn't really take away from the 1st episode, however that means it would need to be done during the 1st counseling session.

I imagine her introducing herself and then tatsuya's reaction being similar to "And? What is it I'm here for exactly"
