Basically, Ichika gone to Germany with Chifuyu. The "Odin Robes" was designed as competive with IS, using Hydrogen Layer-type Fusion Reactors - A.K.A every nanomachines that create the armor is an generator itself.

Even Iron Man has a fist-sized Arc Reactor... in his own chest too.

Simple explanation:
the same way Tate's nanomachine hold enough energy to turn water into high power drill, and turn mist (not even high temperature vapor) into explosion that obliterate reinforced building and heavily damage I.S. caught inside it.

Just picking tech used in me Minerva:

Generators built into the armor, the unit has the Armor-Particle Permeation Field (APP Field) that passively weaves charged particles throughout the armor, strengthening it as well as increasing it's resistance against beam projectiles.

It also works as a hydraulic system, the stronger the APP Field, the easier it is for the user to carry heavy objects.

The APP Field is based on Iron Man, actually. Only Iron Man uses electrical power from the Arc Reactor to strengthen his armor.

Also, It seems I have to do some retcon. In chapter 2 mirrorverse 2 I.S. managed to hold a 1000 ton ferriswheel. I'll chalk it to 'MAGIC' instead of normal depiction of I.S. power

Weird, but does the number of frequent visitor to this thread dropped since the start of S2?

Also, any bet that 4 Quad Phanlax could broke through almost any armor?

And would it be better if Tatenashi use water particle in air to absorb the heat and force of a bullet, instead of stopping it head on?

Magic's fine. Hardly anyone but us would have the tendency to question IS Tech. At one point during a duel the Minerva carries an IS and its APP Field level barely grazes orange level.

It's only to indicate that the IS still has weight even with Core magick on.

For scene visual reference, watch Striker Eureka vs Otachi, when the Jaeger carries the Kaiju.
