Some nice Tsukune/Kurumu moments in the first part of the chapter. Akua is definitely off her rocker and I agree that probably wouldn't be able to cut the rosary off as well. You can pretty much tell that Kalua takes after her mom. Also looks like she the end boss unless someone else is lurking in the shadows. Which makes me wonder where Issa is...?

As far their plans for Moka. I'm going to stick by my absurd theory that Moka is the red herring and Tsukune would be the key that's needed to awaken Alucard. Even though we now know who Moka's grandfather is...

actually i looked back and her childhood home is smaller and has a different design. They're both castle but i not likely the same one. Plus that one was thoroughly destroyed by Alucard

I agree that if Akasha was revived, Gyokuro have a really tough time, but even if that doesn't happen,

since Inner Moka has similar "quirks" as her mother, I'm sure that Gyukuro will receive the punishment she deserves in the future.

Going back to Tsukune, I think that we can outright say that, even if Tsukune looks the same as he did, before he underwent Tohou Fuhai's ritual, I doubt that Tsukune can be still considered a human.

Of course, since we haven't seen Tsukune being affected by the weaknesses of a vampire, and we still don't know if Tsukune needs blood to survive, so I wouldn't say that he has already became a vampire. Furthermore, Tsukune is still wearing the Holy Lock, and it remains to be seen what would happen if Tsukune would remove it, from his arm. Naturally it also means that, we still don't know if this is the end result of Tsukune's transformation, in my opinion it isn't, since while Tsukune still managed to retain his human consciousness (evidenced by Tsukune being able to remember the kiss between him and Kurumu), he still wasn't able to "fully control" his "berserk form", meaning that's it probably isn't the last time when we had seen Tsukune's powers going out of control.

Maybe we will finally get some clues, on what kind of being Tsukune has become during the raid on Fairy Tale's HQ, since after all the source of Tsukune's transformation is the blood of a vampire, and as you probably know Tsukune will need to fight against naturally born vampires, if he wants to rescue Moka.

True, but it's hard to say what that means ... maybe Ikeda just wanted to signify Tsukune's "growth" in some way.

Although, I have to say that Moka is probably going to be quite pleased to see that Tsukune has gained some muscle mass , during the time when they have been separated from each other.

another option is due to what he was doing. tsukune used that punch to destroy the rock so he was using his new control over Youki to enhance his strength and maybe that was just an effect of doing it.

Well, that's possible, but if you look at the last 3 pages of chapter 41, it seems that Tsukune is a bit buffer there as well, so I think that there is a stronger possibility, that it's one of the effects of the ritual, rather then something else.

Tsukune was already pretty well built right before the ritual if you look a bit further back. If you notice when he's sitting down with the ritual tatoos on his body, you see a shot from the back where you can see his shoulders. They're pretty well defined. His arms as well are quite big compared to when we first saw him in the series. I think that whatever physical changes we'll see in Tsukune are gonna be more subtle and harder to notice compared to musculature.

I don't think so. Alucard's the only one who acts up when someone starts using Shinso blood. Akasha didn't suddenly start using all her power because Alucard was awakened, but rather the opposite. Moka also was using her full power before Alucard awoke, considering she was the primary cause for Alucard's awakening.

Well, I agree with Tsuyoshi that Tsukune's final transformation won't be triggered by Alucard's transformation, but it might be a different matter if it would be actually Moka's Shinso blood that would awaken. After all it was already established that there exists some kind of mental connection, which was created from Moka's blood transfusions , and I'm starting to think that, that connection might be used again, when Moka's Shinso blood would reawaken.

Shortly speaking I think that it's possible that Moka's and Tsukune's Shinso blood are already synchronized with each other, which is the reason why they have a mental connection with each other, and that Tsukune's Shinso blood won't "fully awaken", while Moka's Shinso blood remains sealed, and naturally Tsukune's final transformation won't be triggered until his Shinso blood "fully awakens" within his body.

On a different matter, I wonder if Tsukune will keep having those marks on his arm (see first page of the raws), whenever he prepares to use his youkai energy, or if it's only a temporary thing to show the effects of the modification ritual.

If you call the human body restructuring technique a form of steroids, then the answer is yes. But I'm sure it would look even more so if he took off the shirt. But then again, he was said to look pretty buff when they went to the beach inn and they were advertising for the lodge. He's probably gotten a little more tone to his muscles since then.

cybernetic vampire approach is quite original by Ikeda, rather than the acupuncture look in most animes and manga.
