I like the track despite being pretty different from the flutes and stuff we're used to. Visual department is kinda lacking - feels like they just threw whatever together. The new battle system looks fantastic. Perhaps one of the elements of the series that needed a facelift the most. Hopefully this means more boss fights or something - Ayesha certainly needed more of those. A potentially bigger roaster is good but I get this strange feeling that this could go a little too far in terms of DLC. Like, in Ayesha they split the DLC characters and their combo attack into two separate products. I would imagine the next step would be to simply just charge for combo attacks for the included characters. The Atelier series - with its emphasis on cutscenes and the sort - could even easily be reshaped into a "pay per episode" kind of game altogether. That aside, how long do we usually need to wait for plans for localization? Or is this going to get a stealth release like Totori Plus? |

Aw yeah, they brought back in-battle synthesis. Loved that stuff in the Iris series. I was expecting a Sekiha LoveLove Tenkyouken with Escha and Logy's double attack.
Not too keen on the lack of colours on the world map, but this is a world in decline I guess. |
