Well, it's become clear why they're stopping. How the heck do you follow something like this? Seriously, this's transcended too many levels, and there's nowhere to go within the realms of what viewers can see and artists/programmers can draw/code. It's been a crazy, stupid, ridiculous trip, but boy has it been a TRIP! Let this indeed be the conclusion, at least for the near future. Don't go trying to top this one. It's lame and stupid, but seriously you won't be able to come up with a "level" or "power" beyond this.

But they reused most of the animation for the first half of the fight tho.

I don't like Goku's base hair being white/silver. They should have made Goku Mastered UI hair look like a Super Saiyan Silver.

There were a lot of reused animations in this episode. And it was nice to see Vegeta shut the Clown GoD down for once.

Well for the longest I wondered why they would settle on such a generic title for this series in "Super"...

That was some Super$hit no doubt...

I was really critical of the animation in the last few episodes, but they clearly put all the capsule corp money into this final fight....The greatest fight in the history of anime I just heard...

I mean...what can Goku do to top this?

What monkeys on typewriters could write his next chapter after this?? Seriously ain't no training with Uub after this son lol...

Props to next week's preview though...The under-the-radar delight for me is it appears we're going to get some truly beefed up fighting...Like pre-andriod story arc stupid body-size Goku ...


Those fights really faded away in the series (Think beasted up Final Freeza vs. Son)...I ain't looking for Trunks vs Cell level muscle hilarity but I really appreciate that its gonna be a classic layer to the last and greatest battle in the history of the universe ...

This episode was FILLED with reused animation and blurs, very lazy...but I would be lying if I didn't say I enjoyed the fight. The blows held tremendous weight and the fight was entertaining.
I jizzed a little with mastered ui doing the galaxy shit.
But real talk, how will the series continue after this? Goku has an OP dodge gimmick, as well as strength surpassing GoD's. The only future threats I can envision are angels

They reuse animation to create time for the scene like Goku vs Jiren with detail fistfight, when Goku actually start learning UI, and the latter half of the ep.

Mastered UI combined with mastery of Hakai energy. Pretty much be a better GoD than all of the universes GoD's and maybe just below the level of Zeno.... There is always something Goku can do to top things as long as there are more powerful beings than him....

Besides the reused animation, I actually liked the fight between Jiren and Goku again. That theme song....I want it.

Despite the fight having been quite cool, it felt quite flashy, with way too many explosions out of nowhere just to emphasize their battle powers.
And let us not get into the matter of "dragging the plot"...

Ok, for the speech of Whis I think that I pull out some understanding of UI, you know for fun sake.

You have great power but your mind need for think in the level of the moves of your body, and that consumes power. More powerful and fast are you, more power needs your mind for keep with you body.

With Imperfect UI the body moves in automatic pilot for defense like dodge and because the user is not thinking in that moves he can use that energy in the attacks, but for more powerful and heavy hits and techniques, he still need think and gradually the body loses the UI.

With Mastered UI the body moves 100% automatic pilot and all the energy that is not needed for the mind to keep with the body is used like raw power.

I think Mastered UI is more like Naruto's Sage Art. During that Galaxy Transformation, you can actually see him absorbing power from the cosmos. That might also explains how he managed to beat Jiren afterwards, despite being pretty much in a very rough shape, with depleting energy and no ways to heal himself.

Actually, I think it's a lag interference sort of thing. In this state, the body automatically does what it needs to do, so if you're thinking about it then, even if you're thinking to stay out of it, you're still sending some muscular commands, and they're coming with some lag compared to the automatic movements your body's reflexively making, resulting in those movements being twisted/shifted ever so slightly. It's sort of like how some robotics have been designed to recognize a movement and enhance it, but there's an overlap and dissonance that can make things imbalanced or off-center, among other things. When the body's already doing what needs to be done, throwing orders, even small unintentional whispers, gets in the way.

Despite the reused animation, that was a great episode that really knew how to build up and deliver on the hype. It's no wonder they have to stop after this, how are they supposed to top this and come up with new threats?

The anime can excuse them as much as it wants, won't make them any less bullshit than they are (Cabba is the only good saiyan in U6 and that is because he is at least getting his powers in a more believable pace).

The actual fighting in this ep was disappointing, but the build up to Mastered UI was so great. I loved seeing Vegeta telling off Belmold too.

I can't wait for the next episode. The preview looked awesome.

I also don't know how their going to top this and bring in more threats for Goku to beat after this, but I do want to see it. It'd be good if, once the new movie is done with, they've had a chance to think of something good.

@wingdarkness: No training Uub after this? That can still happen. Goku will need to hold back a lot, but that's not really a problem. He can turn his God ki on or off after all. And Super's showing what happened before End of Z, basically, so all of that stuff still happens. Super is probably ending before the events that took place after the time skip after Kid Buu's defeat.

I wonder if Goku can teach Uub how to use God ki. Maybe that's what they'll do if Toriyama decides to continue after the events of End of Z. And maybe there will be mortals on the level of the Angels that Goku will have to fight. If they made a mortal surpassing a God of Destruction, they can also make a mortal surpassing an Angel. Then they could make a mortal that's on the level of the Dragon God that created the Super Dragon Balls. Or a mortal on the level of the Grand Priest. Anything can happen.

Anyway, I liked this episode too. As others have said, Vegeta telling off Belmod was great. And I also look the completed Ultra Instinct. Looking forward to the next episode, too.
