Spoiler for Summary/Chronology of 1st Arc:

- 1 week after his childhood friend, Shirone, and her friends went missing, MC Kuroki investigated the villa she went to and summoned to isekai
- The summoner was Maou and he was asked to repel Yuusha party
- Yuusha party is a "harem party" lead by perfect ikemen Reiji which is also Shirone's group that went missing
- Kuroki disguised himself as Dark Knight Diehart and fought Reiji one-on-one, defeated him and gave him fatal blow
- Yuusha party escaped and Kuroki was promised a reward that is Artificial Goddess (Just like Maou's Wife)
- Later Kuroki wanted to check the condition of Yuusha party so he infiltrated Holy Lenaria Republic
- Discovered that the loss from him make Yuusha party want to be returned to Japan immediately
- Invaded The Goddess Shrine to interrogate the Goddess herself
- Met the Goddess Rena, the main heroine, for the first time. Discovered that the return magic is flawed and might send them to limbo, so he destroyed the ritual items and left the shrine after making Shirone cries.

I dont know if it is intentional or not but when you say so he destroyed the ritual items and left the shrine after making Shirone cries. I thought that Shirone cries because she knows Diehart identity as Kuroki and then conflicted her heart, but it turn out it is not like that. (If I dont read wrongly, because I read with MTL)

also the drama is good, and I dont know why, but when I read that chapter, what come in my mind is that Kuroki is like Yoshida, in the end Yoshida is love Yukino, and I think Kuroki too is love Shirone. there is similarity with Junai (IMO), sigh...maybe I will be Shirone stalker in this series.

also, can someone tell me in which chapter or arc, Shirone know that Diehart is Kuroki? so I can read with easy.
