What keeps causing the reset? Why doesn't time just go on after June 1983, with the town just dead? Obviously this is not just a retelling, but they are connected worlds, but what keeps causing the rewind?

Why did the reset at the end of episode 26 of season 1? That had a good conclusion?

So technically it is only Rika being reset? The other just keep going in other universes? Wow....confusing.

Er, yes, not counting Hanyuu, of course. Isn't it shown more than clearly in the anime that only Rika remembers past worlds except for some vague pieces of memories recalled by K1, Rena and Shion?

Because Rika was killed a day or two after K1 stopped Rena.

It's revealed in the first episode of Kai that the gas disaster happened at the end of that arc.

Does Mion and Shion both do that "hyuu~" expression? And was it told when exactly they tattooed the demon on Mion's back?

It's not exactly told when, but it was done before the clinic was opened and what hyuu~ thing are you talking about?

Also, why does this god get to reset? Since she is the local god, why does her reset affect even places outside of the town. Is she like the most powerful, yet weakest(Can't do anything to actually help them when alive)?

Q & A thread is mainly based on facts and other stuff which is based on general content and such, not about plot parts and all. instead, read the episode threads and such before, as this answer (why of the loo) was already answered several times in the series itself.

if you have a specific question, either use the general discussion or preferably, asks it on the thread of the said episode where the question refers to (if no episode is related to it, it will be probably answered in the future).

This isn't really about the series directly, but it does affect it.

I read about episode 12 (I think) being canceled, because there was a murder in Kyoto by a Killer Loli.
Does anyone have any additional information, or a link perhaps?

Yes, that happened. Also cancelled the last episode of School Days. Though both were played a week later. I don't have an article right on me, but someone may come up with it.

Same "method" for Satoko in Yakusamashi-hen.
As for Miss Furude, no. The police was never able to retrieve her corpse, and the "suicide" note claimed she ended her life by drowning herself in the marsh.
Considering the marsh (depth etc), it is not too "abnormal" for the police to not be able to find the corpse.

Takano found the Death Note lying around, wrote Furude's name in it and the rest was JUST AS PLANNED.

In all seriousness, I thought Takano poisoned him. But looking back it doesn't seem possible.

There's a small detail that wasn't laid out regarding the priest's poisoning.

When the priest was poisoned, he was brought to Irie clinic. Go figure.
