It's sad to see the Bakumatsu theme declining in today's anime standards, but looks somewhat unusual in both visuals and story. I'm going to see how it goes.

Sounds like a story right out of Lupin. He looks like Lupin too without the beard.

And here goes the PV2 with an actual animation footage. Nice song, and the show itself looks promising.

I liked it a lot, despite the fact that it reminded me of an Edo Version of Lupin.

I'm liking this show. The story is simple, but this stuff is rare these days so it doesn't feel cliche'. The main character is lame in his daily life, but decent in his superhero time. I like how blood is not censored during fighting, and there is a little bit of fanservice here and there. As long as they keep this quality, I'll be following this.

have a mixed feeling about this show...it's silly in few scenes but it's quite fun in the same time

the premise is very good

a wacky (foreigner) doctor, inventor old man with his telescope, shrine priestess with her superb disguising skill and thief's sibling with most likely brocon little sister

let's just see how well they execute this good premise and setting in the next few episodes

The money rocket was a nice touch.
Looks like that guy is pretty useless during daytime.
At night he's a complete opposite to himself.
This is some sort of a comedy.
The thing is it's just nothing special.
I'm not saying it's bad, because it's not.
Dropping it, not feeling the vibe.

Not to bad it seem that there going to be a lot of wackiness in this and the zombie is awesome

I was surprised that there was no discussion going about it either.

It's recently finished, but I don't see how an anime like this doesn't get enough attention. At least Monkey Punch's another original anime Musashi Gundoh was so bad (due to its hilarious animation) to the point I find very entertaining.
