Party discipline goes out the window in Fianna Fáil's very public implosion http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...288009631.html Which if you ask me, seems to reflect similarly on the Labour Party in the UK, and in the states of New South Wales, South Australia and West Australia. Remember, Fianna Fail, and the Labour parties are all on the center-left and are typically reliant on spending their way to, and while in, power.

Launch of giant rocket in Southern California heard for miles
"With a thunderous roar heard for miles around, the tallest rocket ever launched
from Vandenberg Air Force Base blasted into outer space, hurtling over the Pacific Ocean as it cut across the afternoon sky. At 1:10 p.m. Pacific time, the 23-story Delta IV Heavy rocket lifted off from the base northwest of Santa Barbara. A white plume trailed the massive rocket as it ascended. Standing 235 feet tall, the rocket was so large that the blast reportedly was heard as far away as 50 miles. According to aerospace experts, the booster was carrying a top-secret spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office — the covert federal umbrella agency that operates spy satellites." See: http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...0,410521.story That must have been one BIG SpySat. |

Spaceflight Now has some good background on the Delta 4 launch.
The so-called KH-12 imagery sats that Titan IV used to launch from Vandenberg supposedly weighed up to 38,000lb (17,000kg), although you can't trust open sources much with this stuff. Today's payload may well be a new design, but Spaceflight Now's mention of "sending surveillance craft into polar orbits to observe nearly all of the planet's surface" does hint at a similar mission.

In any case, watch Obama/Pelosi/Reid attack video games, music, movies, anime, manga and anything else that offends their delicate sensibilities. Gun control will also probably be mentioned despite having nothing at all to do with this.

That's the sad thing about this: besides from the obvious question of "wtf was that teacher doing?", it sounds like a classic case of kids imitating something they've seen but don't understand. Obvious conclusions to leap to are that at least one of them's been molested or has gotten access to porn, both of which are serious issues but will no doubt be overlooked in the noise.
I'd reference a certain infamous GitS:SAC sub here, but I have no wish to be banned from AnimeSuki.
