Somehow, I don't find it surprising. I mean, out of all the girls in the harem, Houki is the type of girl closest to the type of woman that Chifuyu is.

Both are samurai ladies, have long hair, serious to a fault and possess tough, dependable personalities. The only things Houki lacks that Chifuyu has are confidence and experience.

And the maturity which makes Ichika be attracted to:

- Chifuyu
- Chelsea (Cecilia's maid)

Houki got "another" date with Ichika that got intruded by Ran and yup the sister joins. The part with him getting shot was explained in like 5 pages (Laura was following him and saved him).

imouto-san has a huge complex toward onee-san, and it seems imouto-san doesn't have personal IS yet. No indication toward she joining the harem, but not entirely impossible. Houki get another chance after the summer firework festival to confess again, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna fail again(no sense in ending the status quo this early.

I just hope they're going to touch on Phantom Task subject further instead of just focusing on imouto-san this volume.

Damnit, why not add both Tatenashi siblings to the harem? Well, you never know, maybe Ichika might pull off a hero save for the younger sibling (from phantom task, or maybe even making her a hostage) allowing the two to go doki doki. xD
