I can't get to irc.mircx.com or irc2.mircx.com no matter what port I use, and I've been trying for a few days...

If you can't access the channel (#animesuki@irc.mircx.com) via mIRC try the java applet.

Make sure you understand the rules before joining:

1. Fservs are not allowed in #animesuki(.h/.quiz) (try #animesuki.fserv). Download your anime at Animesuki.
2. Do not link or ask links to licensed anime or warez or movies.
3. No public aways. Use a normal /away. Awaynicks are fine, though not preferred.
4. There is no spoon!
5. Colors are forbidden.
6. No "now playing" scripts.
7. Don't pm the ops. If you've got a question, ask it in the channel. (of course, private conversations are allowed)
8. No spamming/advertising/pasting ascii art.
9. No autorejoin. There was a reason why you were kicked.
10. No abusing of the bots.
11. No annoying (ie. annoying colors, ascii chars > 127, blink etc.) quit messages.
12. No triggers that conflict with the channel bots' triggers.
13. Do not ask when an episode is coming out.
14. Please talk in English unless absolutely necessary.
15. No misdirection(tricking people to break the rules)! You shall be banned!
16. No offensive topics in our channels (except #AnimeSuki.h).

These rules are only guidelines! Ops reserve the right to take action against disruptive users, actions or strange nicks.

Yes I guess it was what was written on the trigger rules but I'm not sure since I didn't get to this chat for a while...

You forgot one.

17. Do not do what JAppi does! It will lead to it being over abused and banned. (That's how 95% of the rules came about.)

While I wasn't on my computer as it happened, I did already check my logs when you posted the first time: within the time of 10 hours before your post there were only 2 bans (and as you didn't mention any nick, we can only guess which one of those you are, both bans were "just" before your post):

One ban was for violating rule 9 after he was kicked for racism, offending and inappropriate language and spamming.

The other one for violating rule 1.

Both bans were only temporary (a few minutes) and both people got informed properly about the ban-reason. So what is your problem other than you want to stir things?

Actually no one informed me and I had to PM an op to get myself unbanned.

Hmm must have missed your title last time I answered. So I guess you were the one with the nick Kinetic9.

The reason why you were kicked was: racism, offending and inappropriate language and spamming (OK, no one told you that but it was sort of obvious, no?). The reason why you were kickbanned was: autorejoin - read rule #9 at http://rules.info.ms. It was there right in your kickban message. If you chose to ignore it: sure blame everyone else, especially after seeing the reason for your initial kick.

Dorfl recall a scene in the matrix? Neo talks to this kid whose bending spoons. The kid explains how you shouldn't focus on trying to bend he spoon because beating ir would be impossible because there is no spoon.

PS I know that you probably got it and was being sarcastic or something, but I posted anyways ;p

PSS the actual rule is probably a joke...I've never seen it enforced in the channel

Errr... Actually I didn't get it and I'm still not sure I get it now. I didn't really like the first Matrix movie, so I only watched it once and didn't bother with the others. But thanks for trying to explain it.
