You know, I know some people who talk how Miho's supposedly suffering from a mild instance of PTSD.

We also know that Miho owns a bunch of injured teddy bears.

Makes me wonder why no one's tried to connect these two together to form a crackpot theory.

No PTSD. That bear is just popular merchandize in G&P world, something like "Reluxed Kuma" as we had. Director and staff said in many place to wipe out doubt like you had. No gloomy backgrounds. Just delight.

However, diagnostically, Miho's reliving the events that happened plus her initial avoidance of anything associated with tanks technically qualifies in the DSM-IV criteria for PTSD in remission.

Except it doesn't interfere in her life... well, so far. You never know when someone comes pushes her buttons and sets off an actual attack (which anime directors tend to randomly throw around PTSD flashbacks when a person shouldn't be having them...)

I was rewatching the episodes and once again I find more attention to detail to appreciate. I noticed that the loaders ram home the rounds with their fist closed, which is the correct method.

Wrapping one's fingers around the base of the round can get your fingers taken off by the breech.
