Well, yeah, but it's not as if Alice was much of a smooth operator either... Even the other girls found her excuses more than a bit suspicious. As I heard someone say the other day, when you're a kid, you always think you're much smoother than you are. Alice is mature in a lot of ways, but she's still got a fair bit of growing up to do too.

Akira would probably be around 14-15 in ep06 which makes tiny Aika aged 11-12. Girls do look very different between those ages. However, Aika does look like 9...

Quick look on the Japanese wiki article says Alicia was 15 when made Prima. Whoops, that puts Akira at 15-16 and Aika at 11-13. Akira is 3 years an 5 months (earth calendar) older than Aika.

Given the content coming up around episodes 8-9, more manga-adapted stories taking place after this series simply won't be possible.

Episode 5 and 6.

It's hard to believe, but these two episodes were actually even more beautiful to me than the previous ones. I laughed and smiled the entire way through, a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Episode 5 was the best episode in recent memory, the ending was priceless.

I haven't edited the "girl"'s hair yet as I'm not certain who it is going to be -- to match the original GG series (Henrietta) it would have to be Pigtails Akari but I'm favouring Arisu-chan, simply because she's the smallest of the three, and the Gunslinger Girls are all quite young. Ai-chan is right out, before you suggest it.
