Hey! Leave my Uiharu alone... yes she was whiny and annoying in the anime-original arc but after Saten slapped some sense into her she's been nothing but awesome...

She barely gets any time on the Index side of things (especially the anime) so this is her only chance to shine! I say bring on the Uiharu filler!

For crying out loud she even gets mostly obscured in this pic posted earlier...

I was surprised the first radio show had all four main seiyuu after they had broken them up into teams of Tokiwadai and Sakugawa. Was an entertaining listen though. (I listened to it when it first went up on the radio site.)

So I doubt their screentime will get anywhere near the one in Season 1.

But that's not really a bad thing, if their shared time will be filled with breathtaking/touching moments.

I may be too optimistic, but I do hope that the anime version of the Sisters Arc will be modified enough to let Saten and Uiharu have significant screentime, possibly showing their serious side to fit the atmosphere of the arc.

Aside from the dark arc, I expect many many moments such as the image you posted

I'm assuming they will since you know, the staff really isn't that scared to alter the manga for the anime. Still IMO, they can add more Saten and Uiharu parts, but they really shouldn't change anything in the Sister's arc. Adapt it solidly and this'll be the best sequel ever.

And yeah, I doubt they'll start on the Sisters Arc immediately. The first season started pretty slowly with the Level Upper Arc anyway.
