I think the romance was killed after Inoue was captured, then revived at UlqiHime moment and the died so fast that shippers were like "YAY!!!" and then "Ughh..".
I mean, who cares about romance now when the manga is no where near it and anime, well, anime is now just some Bleach school-slice-of-life.

Also don't you think that you are crazy for pairing, romance when you just pick up the series and cool down as you follow the plot and tap deeper into the story abandoning your love preferences of the heroes?

IchiHime - Um... hello! Ichigo ran after her to HM and went agiants all laws same way as with Rukia. He got damn mad when he found out that Ulquiorra had forced her to come, he wasn't that angry with anyone else in SS. Even with Byakuya. He was ready to sacrifice himself for her many times as well.

their moments together, especially the last ones were the most canon like in Bleach that you could ever receive. She was basicly the only one with whom he acted somehow differently

IchiRuki - there are different kind of friends. Simple friends and very dear friends for whom you would do more than for simple frioends. You have more connection with them. There are bunch of great friends who might look like a couple becauise of how close they are, but they are not romanticly involved.

Rukia gave him shinigami powers, so obviously it had major impact. Because of that he had to do her work. I'm sure your life style also would change because of that...
Ichigo calls Ishida by name too, are they lovers now? And they know each other even less. Same with Hitsugaya and Zaraki.
Orihime aslo lost someone dear to her so what's the difference?
Being able to share feelings and information with each other doesn't make yoyu romanticly involved either. I also have some good friends with whom I can somehow relate and disscuss a lot of things. I had a really close childhood friend sadly with whom I had lost the contact. We were meeting and calling each other almost eacgh day but that also didn't make us romanticly involved. and being kids has nothing to do with it since a lot of people start to have some feelings in early age.

UraYoru/YoruSoi - believe me, a good friend would. Especially if you know that person for ages from early childhood. Who knows, maybe they even shared a pot together. If Kisuke was a girl, I'm sure you would claim it as friendship.
Similar thing is with TatsuHime fandom, the way Tatsuki cares could be easily takes as romantic but since she is a girl, those feeling are denied and put into friendship category. But that's beside the point.
Tell me, if you knew that your closest friend was taken to prison for something that you know he couldn't do, what would you do? Let him riot in prison? I really doubt it... and you are not even romanticly involved.
And if you read and watched that whole scene carefully, there was no way she could take Soi Fon with herself. actions had to be taken immediately. Kisuke was about to get imprisoned if not even killed. There is no way she could run god knows where to say goodbye to her or something. If she was slow, Kisuke would be a goner.Besides Soi was really young back then.
Talk with Soi Fon during those 100 years? How? She was not in SS anymore and only Kisuke could open the gate. and to top it they both were wanted so they would put their lifes under risk. If not the hougyoko, they wouldn't come back and take the risk either. But if Aizen wouldn't be stopped, whole wworld would be put under danger... besides had Kisuke ever told her about Aizen? She didn't seem to know much about him.
She doesn't live with Kisuke and she can't go back to SS since by laws she still is on wanted list. Besides where can she go? She lost everything so no point o come back to SS at this stage. Live with Soi Fon? Why to intrude on her when she already has where to live? If she will get her place in SS again, she can easilly come back.
But despite all those 100 years, Yoruichi still had recognised her even though her looks had completly changed along with character. And it doesn't look like Yoruichi remebers any other subordinates out there. That's also a deep connection. If she didn't care, Soi Fon would be long time forgotten yet she rememered and her face looked depressed in manga when Soi started to cry. After the fight they made up and continued to work together. As well as communicate.

If choose between IchiRuki and UraYoru, IchiRuki has by far more chances to be romanticly involved. The whole leaving all behind for Kisuke and not saying goodbye to Soi Fon is looked completly differently by. there was no romance involvement on anyones part and you simply forget the circumstances under which it all happened. It would be meaningful during SS arc, where it would be hard to argue with you but with whole Pendulum arc a lot of things were clearified.

If Ichiruki is romance, so is IchiHime. If UraYoru is romantic, same with YoruSoi. And other way around. All those couples are very closely tied together. If one of them is in the list, so the other one has to be too.

Anyway I don't plan to disscuss it any furhere since there is no point because you will continue to see thjings your way.

And by the way, I don't ship Ichigo with anyone. I don't really care about him so my comparison about IchiRuki and IchiHime is logically based as well as all others.


EDIT: I started it? I just said that it is your opinion and nothing more. The reason I said it was because you were all 100% sure about it what is completly wrong.
I don't say that YoruSoi is 100% canon and UraYoru 0%.
I just said that YoruSoi had more moments to base on than UraYoru, but you just keep bringing the whole "leaving SS together" moment without even watching it properly.

let's be honest... Ichigo seems to forget about his "friends" a lot: Chad, Ishida and Inoue, Tatsuki...

get Rukia almost killed and he snaps too and she's his "precious nakama" a title far more than what Inoue has...if there was a moment to have a "get away from MY woman" it would have been with the fight with Ulquiorra...and he did not say such thing

Ichigo snapped and came back from the dead not because it was Orihime saying it, but because of the spoken words "SAVE US!" it IS a proven thing Ichigo has the obsession to protect & rescue everyone and anyone that comes in his way in need

Then let's not forget about his fight with Grimmjow where it was thanks to Orihime's scream that he had won. I don't remeber a single fight where Rukia would give him a powerbust in any form except his first encounter with Renji and even then he was mostly thrilled by fighting Renji.

And I suggest you to re-read Chapter 349 pages 18-19. Orihime clearly says "Save me" not "Save us".
Then there is chapter 350 page 3 where he tells himself to stand up because "she" is calling him. Not someone, but she who he wants to protect. No thoughts about Ishida of what so ever.
Now take a look at chapter 352 and page 15. Even in his brainlaess hollow form he is determined to help her. He almost killed Ishida, his friend. Yet he doesn't plan to lay even a finger on Orihime. If Rukia was there instead of Ishida, she probably would be in same position as him. The only one who he sees right now is Orihime and no one else.

That's definetly enough to show that he cares about Orihime far more than about simple friend.

You IchiRuki fans must calm down and take the truth. Rukia is not the only one about whom he cares and he had his moments with Orihime too so IchiHime is not one sided.


I may not like UraYoru much but I'm not denying it and accept it and I reccomend for you and all others to do the same. Like one pairing but not deny the other one which also had their moments.
Obviously Renji/Ichi is a complete crack about which there is no point even talking like many others and they don't have to be accepted. But such pairings as IchiHime, IchiRuki, UraYoru, YoruSoi, HitsuHime, GinRan and UlqHime can't be completly denied.
You people are simply closing your eyes and denyiing things which were repeted over and over and just live in your own reality and see what you want to see and not what is really happening there.

Thank you for correcting me in the wording from the manga, but still it doesn't change that Ichigo has the need to rescue everyone.

Now all I'm saying is that Orihime has the same chance as Rukia to be his lover; through your eyes you have the most evidence of IchiHime, through my eyes it's IchiRuki maybe at the end one of us will be right, but probably neither since I suspect KT will leave it hanging so he doesn't loose popularity, anyhow there's only one way to know, and so we must wait (a lot).

And I did say *my* not mine and never implied to objecify a person (as a kid I hated that my dad talk about *the* child instead of saying my child or heck, call me by my name, because it makes me feel part [not property] of something [in this case my family]) I'm just saying that under the circumstance he could have said it.


...and IchigoxRenji may be a crack pairing but has had more action in the anime than anyother pairing involving Ichigo xD
