Yup She does that in the drafts and he doesn't mind as much as long as she doesn't cross the personal space barrier. She kinda has to though on account of him refusing to disarm and putting mini grenades on his underwear of all places.

That's the direction I'm taking my fic now. Tabane being a sister bent on glorious suicide after replacing everything she has taken away from her sister, and not caring that the world continues to warp as people take advantage of her work while she does so.

Its very much closer to Agex's view, that Tabane is just an inventor willing to do anything for her own goals. I simply defined that goal to be all around Houki, and already even little coincidences of my established fanon then come together.

This removes need for even more scifi wank, and I can now go about playing with metaphors, idols, singing and shooting at the same time.

I think I'm on to something that is so unique it ceases to be crack but an awesome story.

The AGE system pretty much describes the basic ability of any IS... except the AGE Builder is part of the mobile suit.

I like it too. The only thing I find odd about it is that it borrows so much from Gundam 00 in terms of uniform designs and the way the artist etches details on ships.

That certainly explains a lot. But I don't mind this; coming from a Trek guy, having the ships being detailed with panels and bolts is great, just that I'm not used to seeing it on a Gundam series.

Alright, we know that the IS made a huge impact on society. So, how likely is that you see teenage couples in generaly since the IS was introduced?

Taking in the factor that the guys and girls are seperated into same gender schools.

The reason I'm asking this is because Tokyo Tower's located in Shibakoen (Shiba Park), and that is normally an ideal place for dates.

Do you mean those with personal I.S.? there's only a handful of them and five of them is smitten with Ichika.

EDIT: I guess I misunderstood your question, they'll appear like normal couples (most teenage girls, even in I.S. academy don't give a damn about women superiority) except the Boy is heavily burdened due to his social status.

It doesn't really change that much. If a girl wants to date someone they'd either cut the sexist act or basically force the guy to go out with them. I'm assuming its more of the former since teenagers tend to go for romance more than sexual gratification.

Ichika mentions that most specialized schools are segregated after grade school. The only reason they don't do it at grade school is because of the moral implications.

This is exactly the situation in Singapore for the past 70 years... Philanthrophists, religious leaders and convents established schools and separated boys from girls, and kept us educated thus. This may start even at Grade School (our Primary 1-6 years) and can run all the way through to Year 12/High School/Grade 12.

This does create some interesting encounters at university, but for most part, we're fine. lol

So I decry the canon take that sexual segregation is the old ways. Horny teenagers always find a way... Mixed schools in singapore actually have lower hook-up rates than monosex schools. Convent schools have the highest pregnancy rates, while secular monosex girls schools have the highest abortion rates.

And the guys? Secular or monastery, monosex boys are known to be the most sexually charged/emotionally unstable of the bunch. And the depravity... the depravity! The endless porn smuggling! The reading of erotic material in class! The sharing of tales of distant conquests!

Me turning into a monk until I literally found myself in a harem setting in high school was the rarity, rather than the norm.

Back when I was high school and we're hormone charged instead of logic powered, we have to compete for girls.

Being Beta male and knew it well, I never trying too hard though, but some times those Alpha males should learn they don't mess with a nerd like me... (eg: something involves nitrite and glycerine).

Back to topic, I solved it in mine that the segregation itself is different in that Prestigious school = All Girls, Above, below, and average school can be co-ed or mono-gender, and Pathetic public school being all male.

I was Gynophobic till I reached second year high school due to bad experiences. Caused a lot of problems when I got a love letter in grade 5 and a girl got a crush on me in 1st year. I pretty much remained chaste till my senior years after I got over the phobia.

...thankfully, the harem consisted of: 1 guy nerd monk, 1 loud council president determined to un-monk the nerd, 1 genki cheerleader, 1 tsundere whom I somehow managed to beat in council elections, 1 onee-chan sempai-type and 1 queer goth librarian. No yanderes. At least I hope the librarian wasn't secretly yandere.
