I just finished reading Steel 7 and I must say it was darn good. Unlike people at Zeonic I loved the original Crossbone series, but this was AT LEAST as good !
Those waiting for a translation are definitely in for a treat when it'll drop. |

This source came from 2channel, it believe Crossbone Gundam will appear in tv anime since Another Century Episode R video game came out.
I don't know if this true or fake rumor about A.C.E R, here information & thanks for translation by Jaynodius. link: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/99489...ode-r/54793803 http://www2.2ch.net/2ch.html Quote THE MECHA SERIES IN A.C.E R : 4. Crossbone Gundam was never been animated in TV, but alikeable rumor about Crossbone Gundam will appear tv in 2011 depending if Tomino agreed with conversation. Don't get me wrong, if Crossbone is finally getting the animated treatment, then that would be awesome news, though i wish they'll make this a very big project that would span the entirety of the series to Skull Heart and Steel Seven as OVA's, IMHO, Crossbone deserves this much. |

New Crossbone Gundam Manga
Only this time it's a V Gundam side story. If you look you can even see a Zanscare Zoloat in the background. Maybe this will finally get around to explaining the relationship between Zanscare and Jupiter that was only vaguely eluded to in a late episode of Victory when Tashiro mentioned that Kagatie was from Jupiter. I mean it's only been what....18 years now since Victory ended? |

Unfortunately, even if they do, it will not be accepted as an "official"/canon part of the Gundam continuity unless it gets animated (as only official animated works are considered "officially" part of the continuity and not mangas, novels, games, and such) as is with the previous 3 Crossbone Gundam stories and the previous Victory Gundam side story and so on.

On that note, they really should have animated Crossbone and used that to market to kids... Probably wouldn't have done any worse than Gundam AGE... Crossbone has a simple shonen-style story that can appeal to older UC fans as well as younger kids and could potentially do fairly decently. Plus the mecha design would probably appeal to kids as well (I mean, they're pirate-themed Gundams!) Oh well, missed opportunity.
