anyway, I'm quite happy to see Lelei in pretty clothes.. and seeing her sister

Yao still looks awkward in the group though

Looks like Emperor still in strong denial of Japanese power by only acknowledging Lelei in slaying Enryuu
He still looks very arrogant in front of vice minister
putting aside that, it would be fun to see Empire waged another silly war against Japanese this time
Pina could not rest at all and seems like this would not end until she become Empress herself to ensure peace agreement

For Sugawara, that is waifu material there.. Take the loli already!

Yes, they skipped an entire arc, but it could always make a return later on, at least, some part of it.

This Arc was a side-story. It's wasn't in the original novels run. It was published later as a side-story and added to the manga between 2nd and 3rd original arcs. So no reason to add it in the anime.
