Wow, no posts in here for a long time..

So Skip Beat 193 is out now! Yay! Although admittedly I'm getting a bit tired of a lack of progress in the poor girl's emotional development.. but I'm definitely for "career first"-type attitudes!

Come on, Kyoko! I want to see you stand atop the highest heights! (although Sho deciding that he needs to protect her from Ren is a funny development

)

I just wish she forgot about Shou and do it for herself.

Also, Ren needs to stop being a baby and be more aggressive with Kyoko.

Chapter 194! Aggro Kyoko is aggro. I don't think it'll ever happen, but a small masochistic part of me would be overjoyed if this story went shoujo -> josei ..

I didn't expect that

I knew things would get escalated like...that, but I didn't expect Kyouko to reverse her position. Seeing things like this made me remember why I like this series to begin with.

I don't think Kyouko gonna do anything nasty :3

She currently getting into her character and Ren gonna laugh it off and pretend it was part of his characterization and breaking the 4th world regarding Shou.

I was in love with the anime series, but this manga is a torture, I wish there escalation of hint of romance from Ren to Kyouko. I want her to know he is there!

Hey now, read the last chapter, she seems to unconsciously know he's there .. but she can't do it! He's her honored senpai!

wow, its been building up the last couple of chapters, now it looks like its about to explode, lets hope that after this breakdown thats gonna happen she finally realizes she loves Ren or at least that Ren loves her, this senpai relationship has been going on way too long...

ok so shes already aware that she loves him, thats pretty damn good then. Not sure what the director will do though.

Also it sucks being the only skipbeat fan here at animesuki

I am worried about the look that Lory has at the end of chapter 200. Is he going to force Kyoko out of her character since he caught her being out of character?

It's great that the "chest" is finally unlocked! After so many chapters came this great development. What worries me is how Kyoko will act around Ren. Knowing her character, she will think that she is not good enough for Ren, and that alone will take another dozen of chapters (or more). Apart from that, she is also unwilling to return to her former pathetic self who chases after guys. Sigh, so many issues that she has to resolve before she could start a relationship with Ren. There are so many things left unsolved in the manga. I think Skip Beat can easily go for another 200 chapters.

I am a great fan of Skip Beat, but I don't always post (errr, more like this is my first time) because there is not much to talk about, especially in regards to Kyoko and Ren's relationship.

I really like the fact that the focus was on Murasame, with his beginning impressions of Heel and his sister (i still say this is the best Kyoko has ever looked). She already shined during the Dark Moon broadcast ... people are bound to wonder about her sometime - specially since she's at Tsuruga's side yet again. Wonder if there'll be rumors about them? Anyway! I really enjoyed this chapter and am really looking forward to this arc. I really enjoy Kyoko playing a role and the Heels are simply badass. Murasame seems like a lighther version of Ren somehow. I think that has a lot of potential for contrasting. I'm also kinda sure Sho will show up eventually. Seeing Setsu handling him would be a feat I think XD

Ren apparently getting physically closer to Kyouko. Her on the other hand, is trying to extract if Ren is acting or this is the real him. Kyouko is very dense, when it comes to relationships, but she excels on every other category. I'm hoping this depressing arc, would benefit Kyouko relationship with Ren and taking it to the next level. __________________ MAL
