…I’ve missed Konosuba from the depths of my heart. I love everything from the comedy to the derpy animation. Really, it’s like the opposite of Re-Zero in that the selling point isn’t the overbearing trials Subaru face but how funny the screw-ups are for Kazuma and how he barely worms his way out of it.
And the question of whether or not Aqua wears underpants has been definitely solved, so I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season holds for us.

This was my favorite anime of 2016, I just like everything about it. The seemingly never-ending clusterfuck of a story where one screw-up leads to the next, the great characters with excellent less known voice actors, the low-brow budget aesthetic that is used to its fullest effect. And it's hilarious all the time. Hopefully it'll keep up and be a contender this year as well.

One of the greatest parodies ever has return!! I really like how they used all the animation budget in the Megumin's explosions, making everything else looking kinda derpy in a funny way..LOL. That is already part of the show's charm by now.
Kazuma's VA should get an award for his performance. His voice is really comical and fits the character 100%. That lie detector scene was pure gold! Darkness the masochist tank never fails to amuse me too. And yeah, i guess Aqua really does not use any panties. I really missed her view from behind |

Dahell? Why does this look worse than S1? Didn't season 1 sell really well? And that it almost took the 'Best Comedy' award in CR, thus meaning a lot of people saw it streaming too? I mean, S1 wasn't going to win any animation awards, but it didn't look like a DEEN production. This one, or at least the first episode, looks to be a stereotypical DEEN anime. C'mon DEEN, you're now the laughingstock of anime now that Gonzo has more or less cleaned up their act.
At least the humor is there. Like sure, I did feel hurt when Aqua and Megumi threw MC under the bus, but I guess it was played for laughs. That's why Darkness is so far best girl, even sacrificing herself for MC.

You know, if Kazutrash just anwsered most of questions honestly he would have saved himself a lot of grief here. Outside maybe worsening the offical's impression of his character his awnsers would have been mostly harmless saved for one related to the Devil King. He could just gave the same denial he did at court to the lie detector. He already had room for doubt there since he did help engineer Verda's death. But... then we have the 2nd half now of the epiosde now would we?
It's funny though that trial almost ended up becoming more about his sexual harassment and public indeceny than accusation of terrorism. Good to have the series back tho, even with the DEEN QUAITY production. Quote:
Incase you didn't know there was an offical crossover for both series that was released at the end of last month. The two authors are actually BFs who helped support eachothers writting early on. It must be really rewarding for both of them to have become successful together around the same time. Last edited by Applehell; 2017-01-12 at 02:50. Reason: typo |

Episode 01
Lol these retards. Kazuma gets arrested on suspicion of having links to the demon King. Everyone tries to help him but then they all back off when the prosecutor says that she can imprison them all. Such friends. Lol that lie detection part. Kazuma was forced to tell the truth about everything and got trapped when he realized that Wiz was part of the demon king's army at some point. And the prosecutor brought up Kazuma's completely unrelated panty stealing to try and prove him guilty. He was also accused for all the stuff Megumin and Aqua did lol. Darkness saves the day but she could have done more given her family is close to the King. Obviously they were trying to convict a clearly innocent guy just to prevent that Lord from any embarrassment. She could have picked that thing up and wrapped things up peacefully. Oh well, they're all idiots after all. Now Kazuma has to repay the debt he now has due to the damages caused. Great hilarious episode. |

best opening song of the season that dance...
the art is disgus---- I mean awesome as usual those expressions... I don't know how could they found such awesome seiyuu to voice out Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness all of them are flawless This episode might be really funny but I found hard time to laugh wholeheartedly... simply because I lamented Kazuma's fate for being in really bad position after doing so much things for the city at least, Chris, Kyouya, and Wiz are always on Kazuma's side and I hope nothing will happen to Lalat--- I mean Darkness Revealing her identity might lead us to her arc soon but I really hope she could help Kazuma to return his fortune Those last scenes are really painful |
