Ilya, her mother and everyone before her are homunculi. But to your point, Ilya is half-Human. But still ,she mostly inherited from her mother so she is more homunculi and less Human.

Rough idea for another character

Name: Mikoku Naiou
Age: 16
Gender: male
Magic circuit count: 18
Prana count per circuit: 10 units
Description: short black hair. Usually wears a black dress shirt, gray coat and slacks in a messy manner.

History: heir to the Mikoku zaibatsu that fell 3 years ago. Naiou's parents died paying off debts. When their company fell, Naiou's dad asked for a loan from another company. It turned out the company that loaned them money was the one that sold off the company stock and convinced others to do so in depreciating the company. The debt was massive and Naiou's parents ended up working themselves to death, even selling their cadavers to pay off what could be paid. Naiou eventually escaped that debt. 3 years after that, the company that destroyed Mikoku zaibatsu disappeared in debt one night. No one knew why.

Personality: Naiou is openly good-natured but vindictive inside. He enjoys putting people in tough situations because he believes it shows their true character. He is extremely intelligent and equally patient. He learned thaumaturgy on his own, developing his skills as a magus only through digging between true and fake magic books. He is the opposite of the Emiyas. He believes that people should only rely on themselves. If men were born to suffer then let them struggle until they reach the end they deserve, wether that end is tragedy or happiness is irrelevant. To be saved is to be betrayed, to be ended prematurely is just running away. He wants the grail to build a world centered on that ideology.

Preferred tactics: Naiou prefers to take his time with each target. He removes their supports one by one before going in for the kill. He contacts his targets first to gauge them and then work through their mentality to make them think they are cursed.

Fair point but still - only in special circumstances + they are both special part of Humans aka 'magicians'.

Throw in say 12 Royal Commandos against F/SN Rider or entire Battalion against Gilgamesh and see how will they fare against them.

Much more realistic than that other oc. I can't really say that he is the opposite of Emiyas, he sounds like a post-grail Kiritsugu.

It was that time again, when the 3 Emiya sisters had 'that' time again. The war to gain their Shirou onii-chan's affection. And for the oblivious brother, who had no idea what hell was in store for his life only continued with his chores.

Ilyasviel was the most open of the three sisters, she would take drastic steps to gain the attention of Shirou, but her faults was that she was mostly an airhead, but at least was dedicated when the time came.

Miyu was one of the introverted sisters, mostly the flawless Yamato Nadeshiko character but she was socially idept, Ilya considered her as her prime rival because of her academic and cooking abilities. But she had issues with approaching Shirou, unlike Ilya who was on the offensive 90 percent of the time.

Lastly, was Emiya Homura, the youngest, who was drawn to the mess that the 2 sisters made. She was shy, and was more of the middle between the huge contrast of Miyu and Ilya. She also was special to Shirou, as he would often listen to the youngest sister's requests and she would be kind enough to not take advantage of this fact. Despite that, the 2 elder sisters would also classify her as a participant.

The three drew a wheel and spun it, much like a spinner in many board games. On the wheel contained activities like Cosplay service, Cooking, Being MOE for Onii (Ilya was insistent on this one after being introduced to anime by her friends).

The point reached Cosplay Service. Ilya's eyes sparkled, Miyu's remained unchanged and Homura only flushed deep red. Miyu raised her hand, "the deadline time would be evening ok?" The other 2 sisters nodded, but Homura did so much slowly. The battle lines were drawn...

Shirou continued to sweep the floor when he remember that he also had to prepare dinner so that the three sisters won't be hungry. He smiled when he realised that his reason of living was to save others, even to preserve the happy expressions on his family as a big bonus.

Shirou checked the freezer, he could whip up something quick with what he had. A whole chicken, and various sauces in various compartments. It was a good thing that Shirou had taught Miyu how to cook when she was young, at least she could be independant when the time came.

Something in his pocket rang, it was his cellphone.

"Hello, this is Shirou."

A short moment later, he closed the phone as he finished the last touchs of the meal. He would have to leave a notice for the girls to reheat the food. Taking the jacket, he headed out leaving only a notice on the door saying that he would be away for evening to late night.

If only his sisters had known...

Ilya was pacing in her room impatiently, she ran through the idea of cosplaying as a maid for Shirou many times and she couldn't see it working out so well. Why? Because mostly Shirou acts like the perfect male maid, or a butler as Shirou would correct her at times. It was infuriating, until a certain Mystic Code piped out, "are you going to admit defeat to your sisters Ilyasviel?" Ruby floated around Ilya, but it only served to foul the mood of the Homunculus. If only she had more time to focus, and Ruby's annoying voice was not helping.

Miyu on the other hand, was busy drafting out detailed plans on measurements and did heavy research on what would appeal to a male's taste. She was nowhere near as competent as Ilya because she only regarded clothing and even cosplay for practicality and comfort purposes. She could only feel a minor migraine as her efforts are doing very little success for her war effort.

Homura lastly, well she was mostly fumbling about what Shirou would want. And unfortunately for her, Shirou considered her as a child and would smile at her no matter what she did, so the appeal was mostly lost there. She half hesitated to call her friend Madoka, but wasn't sure if she was the best option. But, having some advice is better than none....

The evening came, and the three had little luck with what to do. It was during that time when the 3 Mystic Codes sprung into action, Ruby, Sapphire and Opal (has the voice of Yumizuka Satsuki, in comparison to the other Hisui and Kohaku). The three girls were transformed into their magical girl outfits without their approval.

"Why did you do that?!" The three voices rung in echo.

"We can't let onii-chan see us like this..." Ilya wrapped her legs with her arms, Miyu nodded shortly while Homura played with her fingers nervously.

The three went to the dinner table and awaited for their brother's verdict. It was only after half an hour that they realised that Shirou wasn't home and they searched the Emiya estate.

Homura realised there was a notice on the door and brought it to her older sisters so they could read it.

"Dear everyone:

I am going to be away for the night. The Sajyou family invited me over for dinner, I also have to help Ayaka with her schoolwork. You can eat without me, remember to reheat the food as I assume it would be cool by the time you eat.

Love you all.

Shirou."

Ilya scrunched up the paper, and pulled her other sisters with her. There was an expression of suppressed rage.

"Miyu, Homura. I suggest we have a temporary ceasefire. There is a thieving cat that must be eliminated." The albino smiled evilly, that would parallel most villains in the magical girl shows that she watched.

The other 2 sisters didn't have a choice, they knew what happened when Ilya was angry. And it involved destruction, lots of it. But, in their hearts, they knew that they wouldn't give up Shirou either.

Oh, that! The only time I read Madoka fic is a crossover with Code Geass. Maybe this would be the second.

Say, what if Illya doesn't summoned a Servant, but Shirou himself? Kind of like Zero no Tsukaima.

Yeah, I know, but I would still say they are essentially human in nature. Perhaps not "spiritually", but biologically-speaking they are, and that is how a species is defined.

Even Type-Moon wiki do not categorize them as Humans.

The Type Moon Wiki is not an authoritative source of information. It's unreliable at the best of times.

In fiction different species often have the ability interbreed with each other, but the technical definition of a species is a group of organisms who can only exchange genes with each other. This would mean that if Irisviel was real should would be classified as a human (or Kiritsugu as a homunculus).

An idea for a crossover has been circling in my mind as of late. Weirdly, it came to me while I was watching something completely unrelated, a fan trailer for Batman Vs. Superman. Kiritsugu came to mind, and how he is ''Nasuverse's own answer to the Batman.'' I thought ''Who could be his Superman?'' One thing leading to another, my thought process lead me to a...weird conclusion.

So all of this to say that I'm going to detail my idea below, just so you know it looked like a (sort of) snippet because I suck at explaining, but it really isn't one actually. More like a romanticized summary.

Fans of that certain series should easily recognize which light novel I'm talking about, if not then...I will just spell it out to you if you ask

It is unknown when, or where, it first appeared, it is only known that, since time immemorial, in every nation, every folklore, had knowledge of magic, either seen as a myth for the gullible and skeptic alike, for they cannot use it, or as reality for those who practiced it. Due to the belief in and the practice of magic having been present since the earliest human cultures, one can speculate that humans always had the innate capacity to alter the fabric of reality at fundamental levels.

With the ability to tamper with the deepest mysteries – the source of life, the essence of self – restricted to few people, magi (as they came to call themselves) decided hide their magic abilities from the world and keep their secrets among themselves. Thanks to the accumulated knowledge and bloodline history started by their ancestors, most Magi are descend from old magical families, as affinity to sorcery is something transmitted through blood relations.

Over the centuries, magic became the stuff of fairy tales and legend, and magi lived among themselves, separated from the non-magi society, not quite in peace, but something close to it.

It did not last forever.

The existence of magic was made public in 1999. Recorded through a camera during the 1999 Super Bowl, a fanatical terrorist group was stopped from carrying out a nuclear attack by police officers who unknowingly possessed sleeping supernatural powers. It became the first verifiable case of magic in modern times.
Magic was now openly known.

Through the research of "Supernatural Power" by the most nations, the existence of people who were imparted with "Magic" was gradually made public. Magecraft getting exposed, the Mage's Association had no other choice than to reveal itself in the open, and begin collaborating with the United Nations. Seeing a great potential in this ''fourth science,'' (after chemistry, physics, and biology) the governments all around the world begin to reproduce "Supernatural Power" through "Magic."

Supernatural power became a technology systematized through magic, while magic became a technical skill.

A "Supernatural Power User" became a "Magic Technicians" (in short, Magicians).

The old system of Magecraft, which comes to be known as ''Ancient magic'', was scrapped, and replaced by a more ''efficient'' one for ''modern magic'': while ancient magic and modern magic use the same principles, they are expressed in different ways. As such, anyone who uses modern magic is now defined as being able to ''connect to the information dimension'', also called Eidos.
Magic, which was once unique to an individual, have become accessible for the masses.

Then came World War Three.

During the war, the spiritual successor of the Mage's Association, the International Magic Federation, is created, working to prevent any use of nuclear weapons. With the conclusion of the conflicts in 2064, and the effective outlaw of nuclear weaponry, Magic Technicians have now become the focus of the current arms race.
By the end of the 21st century, skilled Magic Technicians capable of suppressing even nuclear weapons are not uncommon, and are powerful weapons to a country.

But in this current scientific stage, this world of ''Modern Magic'', what about the original ''Ancient'' Magic? What about those who call themselves ''Magi'' and reserve the title of Magicians only to those capable of bringing forth true miracles?
Ancient Magic is still there. Its practioners still call it ''Magecraft'' and they still call themselves ''Magi''. Families that inherit ancient magics just tend to hide their abilities.

Not only their special brand of magic, but their ancient rituals still exist too. One in particular, a magic ritual known as "Heaven's Feel" performed every few decades. Centuries ago, three families — Einzbern, Makiri, Tohsaka — created a dark and bloody ritual as a mean to reach Akasha: Heaven's Feel, the Holy Grail War. A battle between seven magi, competing for a chance to wish upon a "Holy Grail", a legendary artifact that will grant any wish to whom acquires it. As part of this ritual, the seven Magi ("Masters") summon seven legendary individuals throughout history, Heroic Spirits, to act as their stand-ins ("Servants") for a battle royale where the last duo standing are granted the ultimate prize.

It's for this occasion that one Kiritsugu Emiya, young mercenary affiliated to no country or organization who specializes in killing other Magicians, was taken in by the Einzberns, to participate in the Fourth Heaven's Feel on their behalf. He accepts the job, if only to hopefully use the omnipotent wish granting abilities of the Grail to bring true peace. It also helps that a mysterious second contractor asked him to infiltrate the National Magic University affiliated First High School of Japan in order to find information concerning ''Mahesvara'', an unidentified Magician who smashed the Great Asian Alliance during the attempted invasion of Okinawa in 2092.

Kiritsugu, the Eizberns' homunculus and decoy Master Ilyasviel, and the Servant Saber (as well as Kiritsugu's apprentice, former child soldier Maiya Hisau) thus take a plane to Japan, and enroll the First High School in Hachiōji, Tokyo, where probable Masters Tokiomi Tohsaka and Byakuya Matou are rumoured to be enrolled in. As you would have it, the Holy Grail isn't the only thing they will find there or they have to look out for. Murders, intrigue, Machiavellian plotting...

A troubled young priest lacking any desires.

A man straying from its dysfunctional family only to lose the love of his life to another.

A perfect, flawless freshman high achiever, who is good at everything.

Her defective elder brother low achiever, who is lousy at magic but is an honor student.

The stage is set. Hope will be there, always before them, always crushed as they fight through despair, never knowig where it'll lead, and in what state they'll be at the end.
At the edge of despair, the ''gifted'' start their solitary struggle.

The red lance of death approached Shirou's heart with a lightning speed that even his eyes couldn't keep track of. Another 10 cm before it pierced the target until a light glowed around the room. Expecting some danger, the blue clad man jumped backwards as if thinking this was a trap.

Lancer could hear multiple voices emitting from the circle as humanoid figures rose from the large magic circle.

He was surprised to see that this boy had managed to summon a Servant, no...3 Servants? His eyes scanned the room, yes there were 3 figures. What was going on?

The one clad in white turned to the one in blue, "Miyu, we captured the Saber card didn't we?" The blue swordsman looked around the surrounding, and noticed that they weren't at their usual battleground, this was elsewhere. "Ilya, where are we? We are in some kind of shed." Lastly, the one clad in black stepped out, "I sense danger, but this place looks a bit familiar."

Lancer shouted to the boy whose back was to the floor as if surprised. "What have you done?!" There was no guarantee that he could match 3 Servants, but if they were weak, then he may take them out one by one.

Shirou looked up and was met with a sight that would be heaven according to most boys, he was placed just below the armored skirt of the white swordsman, something that was pointed out by the black swordsman, "Looks like Onii-chan over there is enjoying himself." This was met with a shocked response from Ilyasviel.

"Homura-chan, what do you mean?" The white swordsman saw the red hair and the position the teenage boy was placed in. "Onii-chan?" She turned around as her face reddened upon seeing Shirou, although he looked the same as her brother. Her brain froze and womanly instincts took over.

"NOOOOO!!!!" Ilyasviel took her new acquired Caliburn and stabbed Shirou before the other 2 sisters could stop her.

Shirou didn't live up to his dream of living as a hero of justice but at least he died with a pleasant last memory...
